Written like a true RINO.

Yup

I can hear it now

” don’t call me a rino”

( kinda like
“ don’t call me a groomer”)

The leading journal of RINOs everywhere decries the term “RINO”. I’m shocked-shocked I say!!!

That's a false comparison. For one thing, the Democrats are a more united party so there are more RINOs than DINOs. Moreover, most of the people talking about RINOs are internet kvetches like you and me. There are Democrat internet kvetches who actively hate Manchin and Sinema and would gladly write them out of the party (some go even further). But Schumer and the Biden administration don't. They realize they need the votes of the renegades and are willing to give Manchin what he wants to get his vote.

Mitch McConnell doesn't talk about RINOs or about expelling them from the party. He doesn't have as much to buy their votes, but he doesn't show them the door. So in that regard, there's not that much difference between Democrat and Republican behavior in Congress. A politician like Eric Greitens might embrace the "RINO hunting" idea but it didn't end well for him. There's not much difference between the party bases, either. It's just that the Democrats in Congress march in lockstep and we aren't listening to the gripes from the internet complainers.

A National Review “conservative” conserves the latest leftist gains.

The point is, they are all socialists. They all want to advance socialism of one form or another. Its not that hard to work together when you are all socialists.

Mayor Ed Koch might be considered a DINO by today’s standards. Even though he was a huge hoplophobic gun grabber and a staunch supporter of gay rights he was conservative leaning on other issues. Pro Israel and he wouldn’t put up with woke DAs and judges. He even favored capital punishment.
