Yay! Glad you got a little sunshine at least. It lifts the spirits after so long with dreary weather. It looks like the clouds are building back up again. :-(

Leesburg, Florida
I get rest when I am able.
Plans? If I make a plan then it won’t happen
Winter is around the corner, I have to make
arrangements to leave for a few weeks at a time.

He looks like he has tons of personality! I’m glad you didn’t toss him out. Though I’m sure some of his mates would have cheered at the time. LOL!

Do you ever ignore him for a couple of minutes to see if he’ll squirm? I do that to Big ‘Un a lot. He’ll come in here and lie down next to the desk chair, wanting a tummy rub. I can see him out of the corner of my eye as he starts squirming to get attention. After a couple of minutes, he’ll let out one of his squeaks, which is how he meows. THEN I’ll reach down and rub his tummy.
I’m so mean. LOL

LOL! No he just gets up and repositions himself to maybe have a better chance of catching my eye. I’m afraid these kitties don’t take kindly to teasing. :) Besides, I love doing it!

I did unceremoniously toss him out once for three days. That was because he’d gotten into a knock-down-drag-out fight with Chloe. Bad enough tangling with the boys but go after one of the girls - - OUT!
But he wouldn’t leave and he tried so hard to win my heart over again that he succeeded.

He and Chloe have a funny relationship now. He loves her so much and will go over to her in hopes she’ll be nice. She usually isn’t.

She’ll walk up to him sometimes, act nice for a few seconds, then “boop” - - pops him on the head and walks away. He sits down with a pitiful look on his face. LOL
But she’s one I’ll see him snuggled up to, sleeping.

Cats can be so entertaining at times.

It sounds like you do make him work for it a little bit. LOL

I don’t make Big ‘Un wait too long. I just wait for the squeak and I guess he’s figured that out. He squeaks pretty quickly these days.

Shadow is a cutie too. I love black cats.

Jasper is also quite a handsome guy - love that face!

I have a sweet, spoiled meezer (Siamese) who lives to be cuddled. He’s ambivalent on belly-scratches; he can take ‘em or leave ‘em, just as long as he’s being snuggled and loved on frequently. Unfortunately, I can’t post pictures on here (maybe because I mostly post from my phone) or I could bombard you with Meeshie the Meezer pics.

They are...between my house and the house next door is a path from the end of the cul-de-sac, over a bridge that my Dad, and others in the neighborhood, built acrosss the creek to the school yard. My neighborhood had no straight streets for the kids to get to the school. It is a LONG walk any other way to get there.

I walked on the bridge for the first time this year and that closest bush was jutting WAY out in the path. I cut a bunch of it down without touching it. I’ve since moved, carefully, what I cut down in the path, and now I want to remove all of it, and now 4 more, that are in my yard.

Meeshie the Meezer. Love it! Too bad you can’t post pix with your phone because I’ll bet he’s a handsome feller.

Most of our cats aren’t too hot on tummy rubs but Big ‘Un can’t get enough of it. He’s such a silly boy.

I love Jasper’s face too. It says, “I am such a stinker,” and he is. LOL

Your neighborhood IS laid out in a strange way. It was nice of your dad and the others to build that bridge so the kids didn’t have to walk so far to get to school.

You need a pole chainsaw to lop them off at ground level, then a long-handled hook to drag them to the street to be hauled off. Outta there forever. LOL Those are some nasty bushes.

Aaawww…that’s hilarious, though. 😄

If I ignore or don’t immediately respond to a petting/cuddling request, Meesh starts head-butting. I wonder if he knows how cute that is? And it works.

He also sometimes meows on work Zoom or Teams meetings. My co-workers all know who he is.

They have to be cut up and bagged...but I’m using double gloves and empty duck food bags and being very careful. At least the encroachment issue is no more. I’ll keep chipping away until it snows. At least they are all in a corner and I am rarely out there.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Was it another gorgeous day for your romp with Gizmo yesterday? Sonic this week or KFC for supper?
