Any school massacre that might be prevented would deny the Democrats a chance to cry out again for gun confiscation.

“DemoKKKrats do not WANT “school safety.” They want as many kids shot as possible.”

__________

The Uvalde school system police chief is the living breathing proof of this horrible fact.

There is no other explanation for what happened that day. The delay that man imposed, rather than timely interrupting the black-hearted acts of a ruthless school shooter, revealed him as Satan’s agent.

Cruz is expressing verbally ‘shock’ for PR effect. I am sure he isn’t surprised.

Reminds me of the cop in Smokey and the Bandit: “Did you see that? He ran right through our roadblock.”

Because it doesn’t help their efforts at gun grabbing

Shocking Ted Cruz is not difficult.
If he spent more time in TX instead of constantly running for President, he wouldn’t be shocked

This guy is awfully dumb for an Ivy League grad.

Our government is simply stiff with Ivy League grads.

I'm profoundly unimpressed with their intelligence.

Maybe you should do the same with some Dem bills, Ted.

I have read all of the comments thus far, but I guess I am missing something.

First, look at my tag line.

School safety should be a matter for the states, not the federal government. The schools are screwed up to the point of disaster already because of the feds.

There are several reasons I believe this.

#1 It will require the parents and their friends and families to get involved and force the issue.

# It will reduce the death grip the feds have on the school system.

#3 It will force the citizens involved to take their local politicians seriously and kick the crazies out of office, whether it is the school board, the county commissioners or the sheriff (where the sheriff is elected).

Some sheriffs have already put armed deputies in their local schools and some counties have armed their teachers and staff.

Instead of begging for help from DC, we should be telling them to go to hell.

Of course.
He admits that he already knew of the impending objection.
It’s ALL theater.
To me, nothing ANY politician says in the Capitol has the ring of truth.

Cruz should do a video telling all the parents what this POS did for their kids, and then have them provide the reckoning. If that means a crowbar or shovel, so be it.

Play time is over.

He had to because he has a long history of opposing this. Guess why? Because it is racist. I am not foolin’ you.

We need a strengthened 10th Amendment, that’s for sure.

DC messes up more than it helps.
