Brzezinski is about the dumbest broad on TV.
Some of he most deadly hurricanes in US history occurred even before the automobile and before the country really industrialized.

These are 5 of the worst hurricanes to have made landfall in the US

1. Galveston Hurricane of 1900
The “Great” Galveston Hurricane of 1900 is by far the deadliest natural disaster to impact the United States. It made landfall on Sept. 8, 1900 as a Category 4 hurricane with winds of 145 mph.

They must get “woke points” every time they say “climate change” - there’s no other reason I can see for this continuous ongoing nonsensical garbage.

I just figured it was a contractual thing, like getting paid for each re-run, or each time your record plays on air?

If they keep saying it for any other reason, then these people are just complete and utter maroons!

The reason hurricanes seem more destructive now is population growth.

For example, how many more people live in Florida today versus Hurricane Andrew a Cat 5 storm that hit South Florida back in the early 90s and it’s not just Florida, it’s all over the Southern Atlantic and Gulf States.

If hurricane Ian that hit today had hit back in the 1960s or earlier like the 1930s, how many people who have been affected ?? The biggest damage would have been to the alligators and snakes in the Everglades.

Also, 24-hour news and weather channels.

Mika is a fountain of disinformation. The most category five hurricanes recorded in any decade was six in the 1930s. And, Ian wasn't even a category five.

Yep, the Punta Gorda and Cape Coral Metro area has 1 million inhabitants.

Back when I lived in Florida, it was about a tenth of that number. I worked in Punta Gorda for a summer, it was a fairly small then.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1928_Okeechobee_hurricane

Around midday on September 13, the storm strengthened into a Category 5 hurricane and peaked with sustained winds of 160 mph (260 km/h). About six hours later, the system made landfall in Puerto Rico; it remains the only tropical cyclone on record to strike the island at Category 5 intensity. Very strong winds resulted in severe damage in Puerto Rico; 24,728 homes were destroyed and 192,444 were damaged throughout the island, leaving over 500,000 people homeless. Heavy rainfall also led to extreme damage to vegetation and agriculture. On Puerto Rico alone, there were 312 deaths and about US$50 million ($789 million today) in damage. While crossing the island and emerging into the Atlantic, the storm weakened slightly, falling to Category 4 intensity. It began crossing through the Bahamas on September 16, where it resulted in 18 fatalities.

The storm made landfall near West Palm Beach, Florida, early on September 17, with winds of 145 mph (233 km/h). In the city, more than 1,711 homes were destroyed; the effects were most severe around Lake Okeechobee. The storm surge caused water to pour out of the southern edge of the lake, flooding hundreds of square miles to depths as great as 20 feet (6.1 m). Numerous houses and buildings were swept away in the cities of Belle Glade, Canal Point, Chosen, Pahokee, and South Bay, Florida. At least 2,500 people drowned, while damage was estimated at $25 million

All the bombing we are contributing to is no problem for the climate change zombies, just like their private jets are not an issue.

The hypocrisy is stunning.

Hurricanes Are More Intense Due to Human-Caused Climate Change——How do you know that?

I would have been far more sick if I wasn’t vaccinated——How do you know that?

See a trend here?
