Glad you did that. I was wondering. I spent a month in Italy several years ago and never went to Vatican City. Then my Italian Buddhist friends said I must go to see how beautiful it was. I went into the church, walked around, admired art but did not feel anything holy. Walked around the underground level where old popes are entombed and did feel it at one tomb. Interesting that a friend of mine who goes to Unity had the same experience at a different time.
Raised Catholic, I never once felt that I belonged. Prefer the Episcopal church.
