I had about 40K in an IRA back in January. Sold it all of to pay for upgrades in my house. Plan to stay her for another 15 years. My gamble is that it will be a better long term investment.

I’m telling all of my friends to be nice to the Alabama fans and supporters. If we lose it will make us look gracious and like good sports. If we win it will make the Alabama fans hurt like hell.

The Albert Means scandal burned a special place in the hearts of many Bama fans. It's not that Bama was innocent of that scandal or other scandals (or for that matter Tennessee and many other schools).

What burned my butt was how the NCAA did it. When a Tennessee instructor tried to keep their football players from having their assignments done by "tutors", her pleas weren't heard until she reported it to the NCAA. When the NCAA threatened to drop the hammer on the Vols, Phil Fulmer told the NCAA if they let the Vols have a pass, he'll help them bring down a bigger fish. LOL So for many years Bama was forbidden from going to bowls and had scholarship restrictions (the years we refer to as wandering through the wilderness LOL).

When I was growing up there's no way I could be convinced a Tide/Vols game would have 102 points. LOL
