3rd!!
Hey there, radu!
It was very pretty here. High about 75 and sunny. I would have preferred rain, but I’ll take the sunshine rather than wind. It’s 62 right now.
Sorry it was gloomy there. Did it rain, too?
I’m no longer EVER ready for winter, just resolved to it!
Touched base w/my plowman (my drive’s about 100 yards from the road), gerry cans full of gas and k-1, I managed to service the oil burner (only took one day to do the job that used to take me 3 hrs. admittedly, most of that time was looking for my glasses which were usually found perched on my forehead). Then I spent another three days praying to die! I also put up fresh no trespassing signs, “Due to the high cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shots!”
Read where you had posted you’d had 3” to deal with. I can not wrap my head around what you’ll accumulate before the Spring thaw. Does the Japanese current mitigate the winter for you? Does Heroin?
Keep the Faith.
I wish we could have had your weather. It sounds perfect. They SAY it’ll ne sunny with mid 70s on Friday and I hope they’re right.
No rain today. Just thick clouds that wouldn’t move out and that kept the temp down 10 degrees below what they’d predicted. At least we didn’t have the strong winds they’d predicted. Those stayed well north and we just had a biting little breeze. Unpleasant but not unbearable.
Good evening, luvie...she won’t forget and neither will we!
How's everyone doing this morning?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Another pretty day for your outing with Gizmo yesterday? Is the cooler weather making him friskier than usual? :-)
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...hope you and Gizmo enjoyed your adventures yesterday. Water, rocks, tall grass, rolling around space...fun!
You guys have a great Thursday adventure.
I love your warning signs!!
I’ve had enough fun for today...off to bed early.
See ya tomorrow.
I figured it was cooler since it sure is over here. It does make pooches friskier. Bet Gizmo has been giving you a run for the money. LOL
Get a good night’s sleep. It’s probably been a while since you last had one. I hope the streets aren’t too bad when you head out for your afternoon appointments tomorrow.
It was very nice. I’m like you and don’t like the wind, and it was just a little breeze that kept it fresh and didn’t let it get too warm.
I wish you had gotten some more rain. I’m sure they’re still harvesting around there, right?
I don’t mind wind all that much unless it’s blowing real hard, like yesterday, or if it’s blowing when it’s cold. Today could have felt a little refreshing without any wind.
We’ll see if we get any rain Sunday and Monday when some sort of system comes through. It won’t be much if we get anything at all.
There are still a few fields in the county that haven’t been harvested but all those around us seem to be done now. I hope they knock out the last few so we’ll be done with this mess. I have bad earaches in both ears now from dealing with the filthy air for so long. Too much congestion and it’s taken its toll.
I’m off to bed. Had all the fun I can deal with today.
Catch ya Saturday.
Yep, I’m off for beddie-bye too. Have fun at the museum and we’ll talk on Saturday! Hope the weather is good enough to encourage visitors for you to guide through all those treasures! Nighty-night.
We sure won’t forget them. They are our military angels.
Good Morning Kathy! (((HUGS))) Oh yeah, smoke all gone, had a great rain that cleared the air. I had a long trip, flew commercial to LAX to pick up our plane that went wonka with another crew, flew it to Wichita, KS for updates then took it home. Was a lot of fun.
Repeat for those who have not seen these.

In 1992, Sen. Chuck Grassley confronted McCain about his coverup of missing POWs. McCain lost his temper and physically threatened Grassley. Depending on who is telling the story, Grassley punched or pushed back on McCain. Sen. Bob Kerrey intervened to separate them.
Kudos to Grassley.
