Getting cheap programmers helps US based businesses stay in business. Which means many other jobs remain in USA which the company employs from CEO down to janitors. And that helps local govt with property taxes and other taxes.
Do you prefer all computer programming work be exported? Wit world wide internet that is possible to do. I am glad overpaid computer programmers are being replaced with cheaper labor cost which benefits the entire US economy. My sympathies to laid off overpaid programmers. I am one of them. But then I learned another skill and now living the American dream.

I would hold my nose and vote for Mike Lee. He wanted a revolt against Trump in 2016 at the RNC Convention, voted against the wall, then did nothing after November 3rd.
The most important issue right now is not getting in a Nuclear war. If we do other issues won’t matter because we will be dead the the US will no longer exist.

I can see any democrat rethinking their party affiliation at this time.
