“ COVID came down like Manna From Heaven for the Democrats.”

It was a planned coordinated event with a virus created and deliberately released, and a despicable deliberate over reaction, by democrats and Chinese communists. The goal of the entire thing, was to force massive vote by mail and murder Trump’s economy.

The same with the black riots and the antifa riots. Created funded, launched and controlled by democrats and communists.
And of course, by the GOPe who hates Trump as much as they do.

We’re living in very bad times. Elections didn’t work for us, despite having solid, legitimate issues to run on. I see no easy way out of this.

We live our lives like we did on November 7. Family and friends. Politics should not define who we are in our private lives. Sure this will sting a bit. I had the gnawing feeling going into yesterday that things didn’t feel right on the wave. Like too good to be true. Well it was. Despite that, the GOP can still pull out a narrow victory.

GOP candidates just do not want political warfare 24/7/365 like Dems do. Dems live and breath politics. Most Republicans, rightly, do not.

Candidates matter.

Then explain Fetterman.

Trump went along with it. His “Covid response” was terrible and he basically handed over his presidency to Fauci. Trump talks a good game…from a distance…but nobody forced him to shut down the country, attack GOP governors like Kemp and Abbott who immediately attempted to keep their states open, etc.

People liked him as a symbol but as a president, he wasn’t that effective, especially in fighting the Covid hoax or supporting other people who were fighting it.

There are a lot of people, suburban women in particular, still isolated from hard times. Why worry if you’ve got a guaranteed health care or government job and your 401k is ok and you sit on hundreds of thousands of dollars in home equity? Apparently, they need to feel a lot more pain before jumping off the marxist train.

Dems want to win and get out their base. The Stupid Party just doesn’t care as much. I’m sure the GOPe are just fine with the results last night.

Maybe it is high time we start our own party. The GOP doesn’t fight. Yes it will take decades to become significant but we need to do that or we need party leadership that actually is willing to get in the trenches and fight. The squishes we have now simply aren’t up to it.

Sorry.

I work with a lot of old Navy guys who have been saying if the US Navy blockades Mainland China, it will be a bloodless prevention of war.

I did not stop and think that while we have our differences, you are not that nuts.

My apologies.

The other way, the question is how effective is China’s navy and what would other parties do. It wouldn’t be bloodless, but it might be quick.

Ten years ago, Iowa was purple trending blue. It is solid red now.

This is with a ton of immigrants coming in.

But over all you are right. Texas is going to flip and possibly sooner than most think is possible.

A lot of Texas companies are setting up shop here in NE Florida and bringing workers with them. Construction industry especially. It will be interesting to see how that plays out over time.

Yep. I never bought this 'red wave' mantra.

The Dems. have gained so much by cheating why stop now?

Heck Candidates don't work for us either! Let alone elections......
People are voting party line rather than candidate.
Just one look at Fetterman’s win attests to that in Pa.

Of course PA has a really bad history for not putting up good candidates.
