Not only did this rant cost him Virginia, it proved his racism when it comes to Asians.

No they don’t all look alike
And Kim is a common Korean name, not Chinese

And is Trump saying don’t trust a politician with an Asian name?
Sure sounds that way

what is this now, your third Never Trumper thread for the day? It’s only early morning!

It would help if Trump stopped posting batsh*t crazy Truths every hour.

Most people in politics are about themselves or they wouldn’t be in politics. Some say nothing and just roll in the special interest dough, enrich themselves and do whatever the leader says. Some speak out and irritate with maximum venom like Pelosi who makes sure her own financial wheels are greased. Some irritate but have the best interest of Americans in mind. This would be Trump.

There isn’t a single one who hasn’t got a big ego. Trump was also loving enough to award his friend Rush Limbaugh in a most beautiful way for his love of America before his death.

Trump’s the one who’s on a tear.
I report, you decide.

At any rate, after blasting DeSantis (who turned Florida around), using a racial slur to now attack Governor Youngkin (who’s also turned Virginia around) is clearly a symptom of some kind of mental breakdown.

*sigh* I hate to agree, but this is Trump creating a disaster of his own making by sniping at not just people in his party, but really good people in his party like Youngkin or DeSantis.

It’s bad enough he’s demanding some sort of statement of gratitude from them. That’s boorish behavior. Then he’s topping it off with absurd name-calling, like some ill-behaved 13-year old.

And who is Trump attacking before the votes are even counted?

Republicans. The ones who have scored big victories.

Because they didn’t give Donald his due.

Nothing like grace in victory..eh

I get why he is trying to tear down this guy because he is the rumored replacement if Desantis doesn’t bite to run in 2024.

But slurring him with an Asian name is just ridiculous.

Someone should intervene and get him off the net for a hot second.

It’s like a Crazy Ole Grandpa rant

As someone pointed out yesterday, your worst traits grow stronger as you get older.

We are seeing it really bubble to the surface.

It is hacking me off because Trump did great things in the face of constant abuse...and he is burning it down

meh, that is Trump. You take that stuff if you want to win. if I remember Youngkin wasn’t well polished and kind of drab before the win that Trump helped deliver to him.

Im telling you people, Trump has made a deal with the DOJ to avoid real prosecution if he goes after successful Republicans.

No effort is being spared to dump Trump. We shouldn’t contribute.

I know the enemy; see tagline. Furthermore, the Democratic party sees no problem with ILLEGAL immigration, or UNLAWFUL lawful votes (as long as they benefit).

Crap posting like this makes it impossible for candidates still facing election perils, like Kari Lake and Herschel Walker, to defend Trump.

Intervention is an appropriate term but I think the damage he did to himself in the last week…is mortal

Wasn’t it in 2016 Jimrob gave you a warning?

No, actually he didn't.

THIS was the deal offered for everyone here and accepted by some like me...

Our overriding conservative mission on Free Republic is to defend God, family, country!

As it happened, Trump won that 2016 election, Hillary/Bernie were defeated, Trump was President for four years, lost by hook and crook in 2020, and is now out of office.

The terms of that deal were fulfilled.

Now Trump is just making a jackass out of himself after blowing this year's election and lashing out at any of our younger Conservative leaders who he perceives might be a threat to him and his planned vengeance in 2024.

That is unacceptable!

And the last time I checked, supporting Trump to the exclusion of everyone else in the Conservative movement is not in FR's ToS nor a requirement to post and comment on this site, unless another such deal is offered in the future.

Yeah, well who are you voting for 2024? DeSantis is currently my No. 1 choice if he runs. Next would be Pompeo. After that...I'd have to see who else runs.

I don't believe Trump has a hope in hell of winning the 2024 general election if he were to win the nomination, so he'd likely be near the bottom of my preferred list of nominees. Ahead of anyone like Cheney or Kinzinger, but behind any other option.
