Also, you forgot the sexual harassment accusations they brought out against Herman Cain. As long as Gloria Allred lives, there will be sexual harassment accusations brought against Republican Presidential candidates. And I think her daughter is in the same business in California, as are a couple of her grandchildren in the NY City area.

I remember when the country was all concerned about JFK in 1960 because he was a Catholic. He was the first Catholic President elected in this country, and they made a big deal about it when he was running. If Ron is a Catholic, I expect that to be brought up again 62 years later, especially in regards to the abortion issue. Democrats are scum. They don't care whose reputation, or life they destroy to get, and maintain power.

DeSantis doesn’t have the casual charisma of Bill Clinton. But he is smarter, more capable, and far more conservative
What I don't understand is why President Trump seems so *afraid* of challengers for a possible 2024 run?
Not only him, but his supporters. They seem genuinely afraid. Why?
The way some FReepers post, they seem to imply that DeSantis would be crying off in a corner after debating President Trump.
We should welcome a robust, sharp Republican primary - no matter who wants to run.

I must have missed that. The Democrats I've heard, like Newsome and a bunch of media types, absolutely hate him. They call him Trump without the baggage, a "wolf in sheep's clothing", etc..
JFTR, DeSantis graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in Dunedin FL.
Lived there for 25 years as you know. Big behemoth of a government that could hum right along without a governor. I saw many highways get built there and they’re pretty good at it, with or without a governor getting a photo op and news sites acting like he parted the red sea or something.
Saying that is like admitting you’re a RINO yourself. I suppose you’d be fine with his being praised by Democrats too?
