Read the post again. The person said “YET.” The media brings out made up stuff after the candidate wins.
The poster did not mean what was brought out was TRUE.
Because they see him as the only person who can beat Trump in the primary. Once the primary is over, regardless of the outcome, they will turn on DeSantis with a vengeance. Job one is to get rid of Trump and they'll use any tool to accomplish that.

And when DeSantis does not reject the praise of those who are really his enemies politically speaking, it casts him in a suspicious light.
