Ryan, wasn’t he going to run alongside Mitt Romney as VP?

Yeah, but he decided to become a sissy in Mistress Nanzi's House of Pain.

Apparently loves the whip and the ball-gag.

The Lincoln Project, Paul Ryan, and all the usual suspects are suddenly rooting for DeSantis.

This had to happen. Anything to make the troublesome outsider go away. Trump rocked their world. Many of these people will pay a big political price by the time the dust clears.

He’s not running.
"Trump should endorse Biden"

Official (self-appointed) spokesperson for DeSantis? and Trump advisor?

Endorsing someone this early who hasn’t even announced he are running is meaningless. It’s just a Trump dis-endorsement.

Who cares about Ryan and his wishes? He’s a backstabbing prick just like the rest of the GOPe maggots.

"Paul Ryan endorses Ron DeSantis for 2024"

Mr. Ryan needs to be added to the growing list of elites who are evidently clueless (blatantly ignore?) about the federal government's very limited, constitutionally enumerated powers.

More specifically, "street fighter" Trump 47 needs to not only finish draining the swamp, but also to surrender state powers that the feds have been stealing from the states back to the states.

In other words, regardless that misguided FN wants everybody to think that the Oval Office is the most powerful peacetime office in the land, the best way for DeSantis, or any governor, to sere the most people that they can under the Constitution is to keep their governor's offices imo.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Military expenses aside, federal domestic spending policy is not a constitutional term.

If state powers are not surrendered back to the states then we've lost the constitutional republic imo. All that post-17th Amendment ratification crook federal lawmakers are interested in is following the unconstitutional, unaccountable federal taxes taxpayer dollars to DC imo.

And I’m supposed to pay attention to this RINO why?

Paul Ryan’s name is mud on conservative circles and most GOP circles, and he knows it. His endorsement most likely isn’t wanted or welcomed by DeSantis. Until and unless DeSantis shows me that he wants Ryan’s endorsement (which would raise serious doubts for me), this story is a nothing-burger to me.

With RINO Ryan’s level of intellect, I’d thought for sure he’d endorse a Cheney/Kinzinger ticket. At least as a NeverTrumper, this endorsement would be more intellectually honest, but that’s not in his wheelhouse.

Well if that endorsement from Ryan doesn’t put DeSantis right over the top, the posting by Kevin McCarthy’s boyfriend/roommate Frank “The Rug” Luntz should do it!

I wouldn’t disagree. I just wouldn’t want his endorsement.

I doubt DeSantis does either.

The Lincoln Project is most certainly not rooting for DeSantis.

Ron DeSantis is Donald Trump in sheep's clothing. Don't be fooled.

That was two days ago.

I can’t stomach Paul Ryan, he is vile and corrupt and destructive. A person cannot always help it if someone vile endorses him, so I’ll take it no further than that. But if Iwere one of those three I’d denounce the endorsement and likely spit on the ground while I did.

That is as bd as a Mitch McConnell or Nancy Pelosi or Joe Biden endorsement.

Well, I was okay with DeSantis but now I have doubts. If Liz Cheney endorses him that's the kiss of death.

If you can’t see that Ryan is endorsing DeSantos because the alternative would be for him to endorse Trump, then you have no grasp of politics at all.

When I see RINO losers like Paul RINO endorse Ron Desantis it causes me to have two concerns: the GOP-E will use DeSantis to derail Trump and then completely abandon him or; they will fund him up the wazoo and then demand he do their bidding (Jeb, Romney, etc...)

Towards the end in 2016, a lot, maybe most, of the RINOs started supporting Cruz, and it wasn’t because they liked him, it was because he wasn’t Trump. I have NO DOUBT that if Cruz was the nominee, those same RINOs would have given him the Sarah Palin treatment.

Perhaps the same here - they’ll support DeSantis until Trump is out of the way...but then they’ll want NOTHING to do with him.
