The problem with what Alito said is that the framing equated something leftists like (homosexuals) with something they don’t like (KKK members). *Therefore* the argument is invalid, because what leftists think is good *is* good, and people who don’t celebrate homosexuality are evil people, not people with an equally (if not more) valid, tho different, idea.
