If Lee Harvey Oswald was just a lunatic who acted alone, there would be no reason to keep the files from their owners - We The People.

Wow! Brandon is going to release the JFK files, the files that even Trump wouldn’t release, in order to have the Left Media talk about anything except the Biden Crime Family and the FBI coverup of same.

The CIA/FBI run the country. And politicians who want to release this stuff will be reminded that they 6 ways to Sunday to tarnish your reputation.

More than 15,000 documents concerning the assassination remain locked away at the National Archives 59 years after his death - including dozens which experts believe would be the 'smoking gun' proving direct ties between Lee Harvey Oswald and the CIA.

There was no such person named "Lee Harvey Oswald". There was a Lee Oswald and a Harvey Oswald who were conflated together as one person by the government. The government lies all unravel from there.

Well Done!
Let me add a” former Marine” who claimed radar operator\technician knowledge. Turned out not quite to be true. Not surprising almost all defectors (both sides!) exaggerate their worth. The KGB soon discovered once the propaganda value of a defecting USMC wore off (Which it quickly did!) he was of little value. Just a head case with delusions of revolutionary grandeur. (That’s different discussion!) Very glad to let him leave! Letting him leave showed the “compassion” of the modern “Worker’s State”, also that PR might encourage other deluded defectors of more value to cross over.

The problem with the "CIA did it" thesis is that the CIA is a government agency, a group of people. What is needed is to identify specific individuals and outline the conspiracy to kill JFK. Doing so on the facts leads to several uncomfortable and provocative surmises: that LBJ and Hoover at the FBI were in on it, even being prime figures in the conspiracy; that the Mafia was involved; that CIA conspirators thought they had a sound reason to kill Kennedy; and that the Kennedy family for some reason did not pursue the case.

Plausibly, CIA officers and other patriotic conspirators thought that JFK's gross personal misconduct and national security derelictions made him a grave threat to the country's survival, with LBJ and Hoover providing protection because of LBJ's ambition and corruption and Hoover's determination to retain power as FBI Director. And the Kennedy family declined to pursue the case because they knew that JFK dead as a martyr was useful, but that JFK discredited personally would have ended the family's outsize and privileged position even if it was shown that JFK was killed by a quasi-governmental conspiracy.

You have stated my theory of the case exactly.

Most JFK conspiracies start with the premise that “he was killed because he was good”. Most murder victims, though, are killed because they pissed somebody off and/or as revenge.

In my imaginary novel, Dulles, Hoover, and either LBJ or a cutout get together and review the new information that the whoremaster/drug addict President is now sleeping with an East German spy. Something must be done.

Anybody can write the book from there.

which is proof that the CIA killed a sitting president, as far as I am concerned.

there is no other legitimate reason for them to keep shielding these records after so many years.

Indeed. That the records were sealed for 50 years is a sure sign of non-transparency. I think the eye opening moment for me, beyond all the weird coincidences, was when I saw a diagram of the motorcade route, and the route took a hairpin turn at the Book Depository, where Oswald worked.

Our state department paid to bring Oswald and his russky bride back to the U.S. and set him up in a CIA cutout business in New Orleans - the employees of which were later recruited by NASA. Curious, that.

(AND COMMUNICATING WITH THE HEAD OF THE USSR WITHOUT OVERSIGHT, AND OUTING THE VICE PRESIDENT TO TIME MAGAZINE, AND REMOVED THE GUY THAT STARTED THE CIA)

Something must be done.

There, I fixed it.

I don’t think these pictures match. Bush had a longer nose than the fellow in the 2nd & 3rd pics.

The best explanation of the JFK assassination IMHO came out a couple years ago. It goes something like this:

Oswald fired the first shot. It hit the pavement and ricocheted and a piece of pavement hit the person on the overpass.

The second shot went through Kennedy's throat and into Connely’s wrist. This is the magic bullet.

The kill shot came from the Secret Service agent in the back seat of the car following the Presidential Limo.
When the first two shots rang out the agent grabbed his M16 off the floor of the car brought it up to fire. The car stopped short. The agent had his finger on the trigger. His level weapon went off firing directly into the back of Kennedy's head. The exit of this bullet took off the chunk of his cranium killing the POTUS.

According to ballistics experts that recreated the scene, this possible chain of events matches the physical evidence.

Maybe DiMaggio did it after what the Kennedy boys did to Marylin.

Hmm...it does look longer but then the face in the 1st picture is turned more towards the camera. Anyway, I’m just checking out the theories trying to get a story that hangs together. BTW I don’t believe in magic bullets.

Yeah the guy in the 2nd and 3rd photo is not George Bush. Could be a young E. Howard Hunt though? ...

may well have provided the Russians with information that helped them shoot down

Horse hockey - Powers screwed up and was snoozing when his auto pilot allowed him to drift under 50K feet, and within range of Soviet missiles. Had jack-squat to do with anything Oswald could have possible known.

The overflights weren't any kind of secret, except from the public at large.
