Putin had no reason to release Whelan when just Brittany sealed the deal. Now he can keep Whelan for another deal. It’s almost as if Biden was looking for a pertext to release the arms dealer.

I see that during the entirety of Trump’s presidency there was a grand total of TWO threads about Whelan here on FR. The first was posted the day he was arrested:

After that, crickets. Why? Because there was no news to discuss here of Trump attempts to obtain his release, or even news of Trump speaking publicly about him other than one early instance of “we’re looking into that”.
I’m sorry but he was released with a dishonorable discharge from the marines. I’m not impressed.
For Democrats and this demented perv of a president, it is more importand to get an American hating basketball player back than to get a member of the military back. Afghanistan was just the beginning for this America hating regime.
