But you post an idiotic post that a Marine Corp rifleman’s going to go with an unzeroed scope, etc.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
And by the way, there’s no certainty that a Marine Corp rifleman used a rifle with a scope, zeroed or unzeroed because no one witnessed any Marine Corp rifleman doing so!

“Now if you were planning to take a how many hundred yard shot at a president...would you be getting drunk every night, or going to the range?”

Oswald defected to Russia in 1959. Kennedy wasn’t even President at that point.

“Any claim that they weren’t watching a former Marine who had defected to the USSR, then come back to America, doesn’t pass the smell test.”

Yes, they released his CIA 201 “pre-assassination” file, but it’s just full of documents about his defection or his return and some newspaper clippings, plus a few about his trip to Mexico in 1963 that was only picked up because the Mexico City embassy was under surveillance. I think they also released something about his debrief on his return from the Soviet Union, but I believe it was just a cover sheet and not the actual interview notes.

But as for documents that they did any surveillance or investigation of Oswald as a potential Russian asset now back in the US? Not one hint of anything like that. Perhaps all that would be in the FBI file, since they were charged with domestic counterintelligence. But then you have to wonder, exactly where is Oswald’s FBI file?

The sixty year old “old news” has a lot of detailed information—for those who want to lift their heads from the sand.

Among the documents from a previous release was witness testimony (several witnesses whose testimony was part of the Warren Commission workpapers but ignored because they did not “fit” the official narrative) which gave Oswald an ironclad alibi.

He was getting change from a co-worker on the second floor of the School Book Depository Building at the exact instant the shots rang out at Dealey Plaza.

The entire “official narrative” was crushed by that testimony—sixty years after the fact.

“GHW Bush was in Tyler, Texas, about a hundred miles away.”

Maybe, except one of the documents that got released in recent years was a letter from Bush to the FBI in Dallas telling them that he would be traveling FROM Tyler TO Dallas on November 22nd.

“My guess is that there are probably some russians still alive that were passing info about who oswald was talking to, and what about, in their embassy in mexico.”

Except we already know who the source in the Russian embassy was, it was one of the part time secretaries who answered the phones who was reporting back to the CIA (and they had a surveillance camera set up across the street as well). That’s been public knowledge for quite a while now.

“Oswald was clearly a lefty who would fit in nicely with today’s democratic party...”

Sure, and the CIA never trained people to act like Communists for infiltration purposes. That’s just too sophisticated of a strategy for them to think of.

Oswald wasn’t that good of a shot

... and I remember when they forensically examined the scope mounted on the Carcano rifle, one of the findings was it was very loosely attached.
