For those who haven’t read the article, the author’s point is that Gorsuch read gender identity into the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Absurd.

Faggotry and sexual confusion are part of the chaos that kills civilizations.

Very true and it is true for every civilization. The stories of Noah and Lot come to mind.

What is absurd, the author's claim, or the fact that Gorsuch did just that?

There is a cult that somehow considers its members collectively the bride of some dude who’s mother was impregnated by some sort of non-consensual relations with their deity or an associate of their deity. Really weird stuff that has been going on for roughly 2000 years. Can’t really blame Gorsuch fully.

What’s absurd is that anyone would think that Gorsuch’s opinion is not absurd. No idea what absurdity crawled up his cranium, but that it did.

Just checking. I've been outraged since the Bostock decision. We would not be having this disgusting, disgraceful mess in the schools if he had made the proper distinction between "sex" and "gender expression."

The object of my exclamation was unclear: you were right to challenge it.

Logical creep precedes linguistic creep, but linguistic creep enshrines false logic. My best professor railed against vague language: “When a word loses its specificity, it loses its meaning.”

Right he was, as ambiguities are gasoline on the fire for tryanny.

It's epidemic these days. Spellcheck has replaced not just copy editors, but content editors. We, and language, and logic itself are all the poorer for it.
