Unfortunately, I’m not as optimistic as you are. For example, there should be no such thing as a hate crime, because such a crime requires knowledge of what a person was thinking. A crime should just be a crime, period.
Yet we have hate crimes on the books. So you can bet they’ll be successful making unpopular speech a crime. All they’ve got to do is introduce it little by little.
These people are impress with each other.
The rest of us see these ‘elites’ as buffoon - the ‘more money than brains’ crowd.
