Can a homeless guy “legally” own a handgun? What would Jefferson or Adams or Madison have to say about that?

Who might actually need a firearm more? The guy living under a bridge, or somebody who has a home in leafy suburbia? Homeless guy doesn’t even have an address he can put down to apply for a permit. What if he doesn’t have an ID or Driver license? Fuggedaboutit, right?

I didn’t ask for a web link.

I’m asking why did you choose to write it that way. Do you see what you did, did you catch that? Maybe not, that’s why I’m asking.

As the links evidence, it is incontrovertible that blacks commit a disproportionate amount of murder, rape, assault, robbery etc. They also commit a disproportionate amount of interracial crime. Those are the facts. Try not to be reality adverse.

From NEWSWEEK at that!

It is what I have been saying for years. They could not get bans on handguns so they went after rifles. If they can get a ban on rifles to stick, they will be back for the handguns!

Starting in 1962 with the demand of Dems Thomas J. Dodd and Emanuel Celler...
1962 We ONLY want to register handguns. Rifles will not be affected!
1964, We ONLY want to register ALL firearms, not ban them.

1968 We ONLY want to register all guns, and ban the import of foreign Saturday Night Specials, and 5-shot bolt action army surplus rifles! (they got the ban).

1970, We ONLY want to ban small American handguns. Rifles will not be affected!

1976 We ONLY want to ban ALL handguns! Rifles will not be affected!

1981, Actress Lee Grant on Good Morning America screams and pokes holes in the air with her finger...”THE NRA IS A RIFLE ORGANIZATION! THEY SHOULD GIVE UP THEIR HANDGUNS AND THEY CAN KEEP THEIR RIFLES!”

1984, They came for the rifles.

Gun owners know they are always up against a stacked deck.

I wasn’t slightly racist until I was repeatedly abused by blacks. Think about that.

Yep.

That is my point.

Madison would be appalled. So would Jefferson.

Not sure about Adams. He could be a bit of an aristocrat.

As a free person you have the right to be armed.

At all times. Under all conditions.

If you are too dangerous to be armed, you should be locked up.

***one of the reasons behind the Dred Scott decision ***

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!

What the SCOTUS thought about gun control in the pre Civil War era.

“It would give to persons of the negro race, who were recognised as citizens in any one State of the Union, the right to enter every other State whenever they pleased, singly or in companies, without pass or passport, and without obstruction, to sojourn there as long as they pleased, to go where they pleased at every hour of the day or night without molestation, unless they committed some violation of law for which a white man would be punished;
and it would give them the full liberty of speech in public and in private upon all subjects upon which its own citizens might speak; to hold public meetings upon political affairs,
and to KEEP AND CARRY ARMS wherever they went.”

Paragraph 77 in the link below.

When my kids were in grade school the school was very diverse and they liked everyone. Race was not a factor and I thought that it was great and that there was hope.

That changed in Junior High when the Mexicans pulled a bunch of crap on them.

To paraphrase the line from The Wall: You can’t discuss racism unless you agree to use our Marxist comprehension of race and history!!! How can you discuss racism without our Marxist comprehension?!?

Whenever I am able I always write

“I for one, as a white man, look forward to knowing gun control will disarm black people.”

Every once in a while the moderator will post it. Even the commies and BLM marxists in Portland came out against Oregon’s new gun control law (among the strictest in the nation) saying basically the same thing. But enough Karens and homeless were found to get the bill passed.

I’d legalize abortion and ban guns for black people.

How we take the position “How did they let THAT slip in there? What are they up to?”

As usual, the author misses the basic point. An AR is NOT an assault weapon. It’s a .223” semi-automatic rifle. If the pro-gun groups, and the NRA had half a brain, they would point this out the pathetically stupid public.

If ya put furniture on an AR, no one would give it a second thought.

I actually prefer real wood furniture to the current fad of plastic.

I prefer it to the point that I had a Black Walnut stock made for my shiny new M1A, having it made and bedded properly was a little expensive but the finished product was well worth it.
