The perp was not in his underwear. He had shirt, shorts and tennis shoes on.

He seems confused. We don’t know what happened in the 8 minutes between the phone call to the police to when they actually arrived. From the phone call it is obvious that Pelosi is trying to get someone to help him but is very careful in what he says since the perp is hearing the whole conversation. Pelosi seems a bit confused on the call too. Don’t know if he is panicking or maybe he had a few drinks before bed. It is clear though that he does not know the perp and he specifically asks for the Capitol police.
I think it clears up who opened the door.
911 operators will have the residence “pop” on the screen. That information would trigger a silent response.
In a case like this, the cars were dispatched automatically. The 911 operator does that on her keyboard, not on the radio.
The people I hear and read commenting on the 911 call have no idea how those systems work. They are basing their impression on TV shows and movies.
And..there isn’t a police department in the country that is going to share what goes on behind the telephone. That is kept private so that the criminals will not be able to adjust their steps to eliminate a police response.
The operators are trained to be unemotional and calming.
Be careful about jumping to conclusions about the 911 system unless you’ve worked in one.
The police may have been on the way immediately but it still does not change the fact that there is eight minutes between the phone call and their arrival. We do not know what happened in those 8 minutes inside the house, we’ll know more once there is a trial.
My point is that those who were saying this was some kind of gay hookup gone wrong are not supported by any of the evidence we have seen or heard so far. Not sticking up for Pelosi but this seems more like he is being victimized by some violent nut job who broke into his home rather than someone he voluntarily chose to interact with.
Really? I’ve watched it several times. It seems to magically open by itself.

That said—the lack of a howling alarm after the smashing of a glass window just seems amazing, almost unbelievable to me...given who lived in the house.
Paul KNEW the guy’s name & stated such to dispatcher on 911 call.

I was just commenting on the fools on Fox who made statements about the call.
He gives the 911 dispatcher the NAME of the perp.
THEN: HOW/ WHY did Paul give the NAME OF THE PERP to the 911 dispatcher???
More than convinced that this is CGI video.
There is also video of the guy smashing the glass out of a side door with the hammer and entering... how is that “not a break-in?”
um... that’s so odd that the PERP is the one who opened the door!!!!
I wonder if it was a drug deal gone bad, or a drinking buddy he met at a bar.
