Based on other reports I’ve seen on FreeRepublic, it might be that our radars are constantly seeing blips that are filtered out as noise. Now the filters are being adjusted so more blips are being followed.
This is the same one that was detected over Montana earlier.
After detection, it disappeared to test if it could evade US detection.
Now it pops up again to play with us.
Well it could happen but if it does my money is on the deep state here doing it not China. They’ll blame it on China or aliens.
The DC oligarchy can’t control our borders. We should not be surprised that they can’t control our skies either.
Anyone can go buy a helium tank and about 20 Mylar balloons, tie them together, hang aluminum foil on it and drive Biden’s DOD crazy. 10,000 people doing that and apparently the FedGov will seize up.
No doubt this will be deemed “a threat to our democracy.”
That could be said about the first "spy" balloon if anyone had asked the question. At 68,000 feet, a controllable propulsion system on a 200 ft. balloon with a 2,000 pound payload would be quite remarkable due to the insufficient level of oxygen or atmosphere.

I agree with you. However, only recently have ground-based techniques been developed to track these balloons at long distances. So maybe nothing new about the balloon incursions.
I only wish Art Bell were alive to see this.
The big balloon had propellers — no reason wide chord, thick airfoils can’t work at that altitude. They work on Mars!

I think these really are alien ships, they asked to see our leaders but we figured we better just cut our losses and shoot them down.
