The fbi lied repeatedly about the final attack. They swore that they didn't fire one shot into the compound. Then a flir video from a plane flying over the property at the time of the attack came out. It showed agents firing automatic weapons at people in the house. Such blatant lies.

During the middle of the night on watch in the persian gulf twirling the dials on my WLR1-C. I was chatting with fellow EW on watch who was seventh day adventist. He explained that they believed that in the “end times”, the govt would persecute and kill them, and that they should flee to the hills for safety. THis was in 1979, the davidians weren’t that far outside mainstream seventh day adventist beliefs. The govt helpfully fulfilled their prophecies.

The FBI and ATF loves killing them some uppity disobedient Americans. Rather then send in the local sheriff to arrest Koresh (with whom he had a good relationship according to his own interviews) in town the feds just needed a reminder to show America who is in charge.

Well we’ve seen many examples here on this very site say that the police were justified in killing someone because they didn’t follow the direction of the cops. I find this situation no different then Freddy grey or George Floyd.

I wasn't as aware of the media lies back when this happened. I just started to question what they were saying. I fully supported the government at the time. It was probably one year later when I lost all trust in the media. The documentary Waco Rules Of Engagement was a real eye opener.
