The continuation of this war benefits neither Russia nor Ukraine. How many more people is Ukraine willing to sacrifice and how much more territory are they willing to lose in a war they can’t win? Are they counting on NATO to become directly involved? Public opinion both here and in Europe is against that, it would take a major false flag event to change that public opinion, is that what Ukraine is counting on? NATO involvement means WW3, who in their right mind wants that?

I do think they are different, but I do not believe “war” to be an easy “fix” for the problems of the CCP.

It carries enormous risks because there are many unknowns and China has little to gauge the worthiness of their military and tech.

Much of the West will cut economic ties and if you remove half your economy (exports) when you are struggling (as the rest of the world) the end results are unpredictable for everyone.

The average Chinese care as much about Taiwan as Russians do about the Ukraine.

An incident at the Belarus airfield of Machulishchy took place. Coordinates:

53°46'34.29"N, 27°34'52.06"E

According Bypol a Russian A-50 (counterpart of AWACS) was hit by explosive devices and got disabled. Repair will take time. It is claimed that partisans were responsible.

Ukraine was played by the neocons in this proxy war to weaken Russia and now their country is screwed. They are obviously too stupid to have their own country, and have proven this by their foolishly poking the bear and not accepting the Minsk agreement. Too late for that now, nobody in their right mind is interested in starting WW3 over your corrupt little country, so accept responsibility for your stupid decisions and negotiate an end to this thing before any more people needlessly die.

“Minsk agreement”...I haven’t been on here in a few years. How come nobody talks about the Minsk agreement? Do folks here on FR talk about it much?

“They need to blast Ukraine again with a barrage of missiles. And they need to hit Zelinskys office. The Reich won’t stop their lunacy.”

ONE tactical nuke would succinctly send a your message.

FWIW:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beriev_A-50
After completing the joint state tests, Beriev has delivered the first A-50U to the Russian Air Force.

The aircraft, “47 Krasnyy’”RF-92957, was handed over at Beriev’s facility in Taganrog on 31 October 2011.

It was accepted by an aircrew serving with the 2457th Aviation Base for Combat Operation of Airborne Early Warning Aircraft (Aviabaza Boevogo Primeneniya Samolyotov Dal’nego Radiolokatsionnogo Obnaruzheniya) at Ivanovo Severny, which is the only base using the A-50 operationally (it operates 16 aircraft).

The fourth A-50U, “41 Taganrog”, was delivered to the Russian Aerospace Forces on 7 March 2017. The fifth A-50U, “45 Krasnyy”, was delivered on 6 December 2018. 7 aircraft have been delivered as of December 2021.

The pro-Ukes don’t like to mention the Minsk agreement if they can help it. Or if they do they will say it was untenable because they say Russia has no right to Crimea, blah blah blah. Their arguments are of an emotional nature and devoid of any commonsense. Maybe they really are stupid enough to fight till the last Ukrainian, that remains to be seen.

How in hell are they going to judge Putin as a war criminal? Who’s the judge, who is the jury, who is the prosecutor? If China gets all cozy with Russia, will they also have to appear as war criminals?
Rots of ruck.
