Wait a min, guns are bad, enforcing laws is bad. Stopping shoplifting is bad. Sophie van forcing businesses to hire armed security guards a good thing.
Oh, I forgot about liberal logic.

I will make them a deal, give me total immunity and I will do it for room and board plus free ammo.

If the stores are forced to hired armed guards will they be granted immunity from criminal and civil liability?

A friend of ours is from Venezuela. He goes back there about 1 time a year. He agrees with your statement.

Just wait until one of those armed guards lights up a holy shoplifter and see what happens.

State Rep. Thaddeus Jones, D-Calumet City, introduced the “Armed Security Protection Act.”

It only applies to municipalities with more than 2 million residents, which in Illinois would exclusively mean Chicago.

The guards company has lawyers and insurance is the calculation of government, but the terms of service of the guard company has no real regulation. Armed Guard who does something is not really the case if the guard is billed out as less than 40/hr. Any of those low rent guards are for show. Perhaps an off duty cop hauling in some extra bucks when there is not a wedding to work may be of use.

An armed owner, shopkeeper, manager on the other hand is constitutionally empowered to protect themselves, and we will not have that in Chicago.

So they’ve leaped all the way from “you’re not allowed to have guns” to “you MUST have guns”?

“2 million residents…”

Making the law futureproof. Good thinking!

The first time one of these armed guards shoot someone then they will charged with murder.

A corporation can have toys that most states do not allow.

But that corp has to be connected.

Because our starlink ground station is in Chicago we get all the mayor ads.

No one running is going to save Chicago.

If you have to pay for your own armed security, then any taxes collected to support the police department need to be immediately refunded. The point of taxes for a police department is collective funding of city wide security to get the criminals off the street.

I can see it now——

Thug doesn’t GAD & does his usual behavior-—

Guard shoots him

Guard gets charged

UNLESS I had written proof that I would not get charged-—this would be KYLE RITTENHOUSE times 1000 within hours.
