I don’t happy to have remembered the Trump tax cuts sunsetting/expiring so soon; I thought they were good for 10 years — can you supply a link or source please?

It should be understood by now that corporations don’t pay income taxes. They are a collection agency for the government, whatever they remit in income tax is a bottom on the line amount on their income statement…it’s a part of their cost of doing business.

Well, this is one way for Biden to not get elected in 2024, but why doesn’t he simply say that? Whoever is making him do such awful presidential stuff must have something big over Biden forcing him to run.

Yes, Mr. and Mrs. America, this is the strongest Presidential candidate the Democrats have to offer.

Let’s see if House Republicans stand firmly against tax hikes. Any Republican voting for tax increases is dead meat in the 2024 primaries.

Yes. Don't go wobbly on us.

Although disputed by Dick Cheney, this is from Margaret Thatcher's memoir:

In the evening of 26th August President Bush telephoned me from Kennebunkport. I told him how pleased I was with Security Council Resolution 665 which had been passed the day before, enabling us to enforce the embargo. We must use our powers to stop Iraqi shipping. This was no time to go wobbly. From: The Downing Street Years , pp.823-24

At this point, the only purpose of taxation is to punish disfavored classes of people.

That would be anyone working for aliving verses the gimme dat class

Higher taxes, taking away our guns, rationing food, inflation, ridiculous prices on gas and home heating...

Hell of a ‘re-election platform’ ya got there, Sparky!

And the DOPES just eat it up...and keep VOTING for this stuff!

“Although the business term “corporation” is widely associated with large companies like Chevron, Berkshire Hathaway, and McDonald’s, C-corporations can be both large and small businesses.”

Big or small — no matter — increased costs are paid by the consumers. All these politicians need more revenue to pay for the ever increasing cost of government.

The English language simply doesn’t have words nasty enough to describe Joe Biden.

“Joe Biden to Fight for Tax Hikes in 2024 Budget: ‘I’m Gonna Raise Some Taxes’”

now if he’ll just push social security and medicare “entitlement reforms”, then between f-ing over we old folks and promising to raise taxes on everyone else, he should have a winning platform!

Enough of them will survive, thanks to their brain dead "Republican" constituents. EX: Romney.

The power of the incumbency is hard to combat. These RINO's transform any Republican majority into an effective minority.
