“Ex-Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan won’t challenge Trump in 2024”

daum ... who on earth will now fill the “fat-man” slot in the pantheon of Trump primary opponents?

The nation scratches its collective head and wonders “Who?”

WWII guy. Drollery. Didn't care much for the nasty Krauts.

Had to wonder about all these "heroes," and the bunkbeds too.

More here:

I searched before posting. I think the problem is that it takes ten minutes or so to post an article. Two people could be working on it at about the same time and the article wouldn't appear in the search results until one of them hits post. Then the latter to hit post gets scolded. :-) From now on, my policy is going to be to search both before and after I've completed my post to make sure nobody has beaten me to it.

He couldn't if he tried.

Liberal Larry Hogan wouldn’t have “challenged” Trump (or anyone else) regardless of whether he ran for President or not.

😂😂😂👍. Trust me, I KNOW the search works perfectly all the time. I’ve even been suspended for “learn to search” before. Thank you mods.

I would never run for president to sell books or position myself for a Cabinet role

When I heard he was considering a run for Prez I knew it could not be because he expected to win. I thought his objective was to damage the conservative wing of the GOP. I figured he wanted to get in the debates and start railing about how "divisive" today's Republicans are, then drop out after maybe the SC primary. Then he'd spend the rest of the election appearing on CNN to lamenting how a non-divisive Republican like himself is rejected by today's Republican party.

Hogan was very good for Maryland, a forlorn state going the wrong direction. However, he does not play well most other places. He also has too many unforced errors.
