Well I am thiking that every 10 years,at re-assesstime, we may be able to reduce the zone down slightly and have decent mexicans repatriate it, but never give up 20-30 miles of the dmz ever, because we will want some of it for security and for military training of ground and air weapons.

While I’d love to see a wall and some actual border protection, the reality is that there is a market for illegal drugs in the US, a huge market. The market will always find a way to deliver the drugs to those that demand them.
Since much of this drug comes through Arizona & Texas, why doesn’t Texas made fentanyl trafficking a Capital Offense or Life Without Parole. I would suggest the same for Arizona, New Mexico and California but they are lost causes.
If we had any nationalist balls we would make this Mexico’s problem. If we can get the intel and get informants to squeal. We could send a few jet planes and waste some Cartel meth labs, fentanyl labs and pill factories with precision missiles.
Drones with missiles fly to Mexico and destroy Cartel head quarters residences and offices and people.
The Mexican President can do nothing at all about it.

The nice thing about a wall is that it just stops people. You don’t have to chase them down, shoot them, etc. The wall is cheap and humane.

We need to start sending drug dealers into exile on some prison Islands. Or ship them off to Rwanda into heavily fenced and guarded outdoor prison compounds. Paying Rwanda for this of course.

The solution is both easy and inexpensive. There is ample precedent of using rocket armed dronesto takeout enemies with precision.
What is needed is a planned simultaneous drone assault on several, perhaps many cartel installations. The objective is to kill and destroy.

I think that Western Civilization, and the USA as part of it, are in an advanced state of decadence, which is in fact suicide.
Whether or not decadence can be reversed once it has afflicted a civilization is an unanswered question. Donald Trump believed that it could be. So convinced was he that he risked everything he had to save his beloved America from it. But the forces of decay are strong, and those profiting from it have done everything possible to destroy him, his family, his wealth, and his supporters and have certainly done everything they can to prevent the reversal of decadence. Thus, so far the decadence continues.
Open borders, the poisoning of America with drugs, the entire "woke" movement, the Biden and Obama Administrations, et al. are manifestations of decadence.
The American People can save themselves. No one else can.

It would be humane for the rest of society to wipe out the cartels in that 200 mi dmz zone. For us and the civil mexicans.
