In the end, you have to ask yourself: did Trump achieve some worthy things as President regardless of the road blockers in power? And yes, he succeeded on many fronts. We desperately need him at the helm of State again.

Amen to that.

Trump's first public office was 'President of the United States'... so yeah - he didn't know the Washington scene but quickly figured out the Deep State was corrupt. That was impressive. Now that Trump knows the lay of the land he'll be even more effective than he was the first time.

TRUMP first arrived in DC a blind man with no seeing eye
dog or stick. Conducting business is second nature to him,
the role of espionage is something new. People are deceiving,
everywhere. Finding allies is difficult. Finding patriots
is harder still.

Yes, another TRUMP term is absolutely necessary.
Doctor! Doctor! We got a bad case here needing experts with experience
rather than interns fresh out of ‘collage’.

Reagan had to contend with Bush;
Trump had the redwood forest to overcome.

You’re wrong. The do not “love” DeSantis; they attack him constantly. They are afraid of him.

That is easily the stupidest analysis of facts I have seen today.

Trump can be elected and can save the Republic only if he totally denounces the DC GOP.

* * *

What does “totally denounce the DC GOP” achieve? Seems like it would alienate middle-of-the-roader GOP who Trump needs to make a majority.

Perhaps the biggest thing Trump achieved was the MAGA movement itself, mobilizing a nation of patriots and conservative-leaning voters to take back our government.

Indeed, the coup of our voting system by the Pelosi and RAT conspirators MUST be met head on or else our Republic will totally collapse into George Orwell’s worst nightmare.

We need a strong, experienced executive at the helm who loves America — and nobody else measures up to the challenge. Trump is the George Washington of our times.

Not sure who the Republican nominee may be but it’s likely we’ll see Joe Biden and Donald Trump’s names on the ballot.

If Trump decides to run and loses the primary, I can see him running as a third party.

Excellent, V K!   Emerson's poem Goodbye Proud World completes your metaphor:

You may want to FAMILIARIZE yourself with today’s media. If they denigrate DeSantis, then it means they support Trump, since no one else is viable.

Do you REALLY think they prefer Trump to DeSantis?

They prefer Biden/Harris/Clinton/0bama or whatever else the ‘Rats puke up to Trump, DeSantis, or anyone else who is sane. Therefore, they will trash any and all sane political figures.

Your over-enthusiastic Trumpism is giving you tunnel vision.

Only you can help yourself with this.

Naa, I prefer DeSantis do one of two things, either get Trump to support him, or drop out.

Anything else is STUPID, both for Trump and for DeSantis himself. You guys will see why when you come crawling for Trump voters (very similar to McCain being forced to choose Palin because the base was fed up with him).

What guys? You assume facts not in evidence.

will see why when you come crawling for Trump voters

Any "Trump voter" who would refuse to vote for DeSantis, should he win the nomination, is an idiot and an evil enemy of America.

I don’t deny that, but they are here - one even answered one of my postings. They simply are unable to process just HOW EVIL the Democrats are (or they’re trolling, but I don’t think so).

There are many reasons why “America is doomed”. They have nothing to do with “neocons” or “globalists” or other bogeymen some folks like to rant about.

One of those reasons is the Right Wing Circular Firing Squad.

Must be the fault of Trump supporters, then.

“One of those reasons is the Right Wing Circular Firing Squad.”

More like GOP circular firing squad*, but you’re also right, to a lesser extent.

*just imagine if the Republican Party actually SUPPORTED Trump, how he would have done in 2016 and probably 2020.

The MSM don’t attack DeSantis constantly. Until recently they’ve mostly ignored him. But as it’s becoming clearer that he plans to run, they’re doing what they can to help him defeat Trump. How do you think the base would respond if outlets like the Times spoke kindly of DeSantis? Would it help him or hurt him?
