There's a difference between considering it and basing your entire governing policy on it. Climate change is real. The planet warms and it cools. Over time, it cools a little more and warms a little more. It has since the beginning of time. There have been ice ages and warming periods throughout history. No, my SUV doesn't cause it. My cows don't cause it, and more of my hard earned $$$ ain't going to stop it. It's going to happen because that is how the earth works. So, saying he would be a fool NOT to consider it makes complete sense.

And for the record, no, I'm not one of the rabid DeSantis types. In fact, I'm a Trump voter.

Climate change is real. The only thing constant is change. The earth has gone from warm to cold and back again on many occasions before cows were domesticated and the internal combustion engine was invented. The species that have adapted to change have survived and thrived. Acknowledging that climate changes occur and taking steps to adapt does not make one a closet leftist. Changing building codes or flood maps is not the same as regulating cow flatulence and banning SUV's. The former is dealing with natural events and the latter is hellbent on control.

This whole line of discussion always amazes me where the the leftists claim that a constant temperature is the norm and any variation is man's fault. Meanwhile there are those countering them by saying that a constant temperature is the norm and any variation is made up nonsense. How about realizing that a constant temperature is not the norm and variation can be expected over time regardless of what we drive and what cows emit?
