They know what the long term consequences of Ukraine losing would be.
To: Timber Rattler
The US will probably replace these outdated fighters with something new that benefits the war machine politicians.

Who will pilot these jets?

Cool. Let’s send Ukraine all of our old VHS tapes and 8-tracks next.

Saw two of those birds up close at a 90’s Cleveland Air Show (era of Glasnost, pre-Clinton ruining the dream). Beautiful aircraft. The Russian pilots performed the “cobra” maneuver along the Burke Lakefront airstrip at a couple thousand feet.

The Russians are dragging 1960’s T-62s out of storage. Ukraine does well enough with older equipment.

Slovakia already signed a deal in 2018 to buy F-16s. But your snarky comment is duly noted...Thanks for backing that up.
Just as Russia's defense industry thrived supplying weapons to Soviet satellite states, now it is the US defense industry thriving as NATO keeps expanding and expanding.

I suggest sending a few A-10’s, even old A-10’s
One A-10 could produce a world of hurt on a Russian armored column delayed by the mines in their path

PING!!!!!
Hat tip to rattler for pointing out the escalation of this war by NATO!

One A-10 could produce a world of hurt on a Russian armored column delayed by the mines in their pathEnough with the 1970s thinking.
Send 20,000 drones (at $100 each) with explosives and decimate the entire opposing army. No loss of life on our side and no waste of expensive military equipment.
But that is not the objective here. The objective is to satisfy US defense contractors who need war after war so they can kickback to our politicians.

as NATO keeps expanding and expanding
only because Russia remains a warmongering menace that keeps attacking & invading its neighbors
if Russia could, somehow, just stop attacking & invading its neighbors, there would be no more need for NATO, duh
