It seems coordinated the Dems go after Trump and DeSantis comes out of his lair to run for POTUS.
What a total backstabbing ingrate. If Trump hadn’t endorsed & campaigned for him in 2018, Florida would be California East right now.
Doesn’t Ron not instinctively understand that Trump was screwed twice and this is his moment to finish his job and get revenge? Ron doesn’t have any idea what he’s up against, remember he was a no-name Congressman.
DeSanctis has to resign before he can run.

It would be interesting to know how this goes over with Floridians. Has DeSantis prepared someone to take his spot in Florida in order to keep that state solidly in the “red” column? His first election was so close and they were just a hair’s width from being saddled with the meth/sex addict.
Floridians have invested so much in DeSantis and given him their full support, including many Democrats. I’m not sure how they will feel about him just walking away now to pursue higher ambitions. 2028 is not that far away and DeSantis is young. I think he should stay in Florida and finish what he started while prepping someone to step in his shoes at that point. If he walks away now, Florida democrats will smell blood and go all in on moving the state back into “blue” column.
