JFK, Jr., perhaps?

This guy is a true “fruits and nuts” kind of guy - confused by even the simplest concepts. A few rare cases of him being right, but in most everything - he is nothing but a dirtbag psycho...

But I’ll take any competition to beat on Biden for a while.

He's really got it all...and I don't think anyone can beat him. The press will be kind.

I thought Newsome would be the party pick...but RFK Jr is much better.

I always liked his father better than JFK.

"He just might have an “accident “ Kinda runs in that family"

He and his first wife divorced. His second wife hung herself, and he's currently married to Hollywood actress Cheryl Hines and lives in California. He's also a rabid environmentalist, against hydro-power, coal mining, nuclear energy, etc. He's for renewable energy, but opposed a wind farm project planned off the coast of Cape Cod where he has a home.

It’s so sad to think about how fun (and calming) it would be to listen to Rush today if he were alive.

Some of those ambulance chasers do good work for the people they represent. And as you suggest, RFK Jr. has actually WORKED for a living.

He seems a little flaky in some ways, but if he’s anything at all like his Uncle John, I’d rather have him than any other Democrat I see in the field (or anyone likely to be in it.)

On the Democrat side, it’s just going to be a choice among the best of the worst.

(Like my own father, JFK is probably rolling in his grave over the insanity that has taken over the Democrat Party.)

You had me at Anti-Vaccine Zealot...

He certainly could shine a light on the cruel dishonesty of the last 2 admins.

In 1968, I was genuinely fearful that RFK would be elected president and lead the country leftward, which was a major reason that I joined the Republican Party. However, if the GOP is dumb enough to make someone like Asa Hutchinson or Nikki Haley its presidential standard bearer, I just might vote for a Kennedy.

He’s a long time conspiracist and nutcase

Really? His uncle, father and cousin all died under very suspicious actions, I think he may have a few great reasons to not trust the government.

RFK had the most potential.
JFK stood up to the military over Cuba/missiles. Probably what got him killed.

Now Jr. wants to stick himself into this mess? Perhaps he can make his party appreciate patriotism.

In that case, for once I will support a Kennedy running for office.

Until primary season is over. Then it is Trump 2024 all the way! 😉

I’ll have to hear what he has to say for himself and his vision for the Nation.

In 1968 Robert Sr. was murdered. You sort of omitted that. Robert Jr. has a strong attraction for antivaccers. My best President of my lifetime - 82 years - President Trump - does not. I hate the biological weapon vax. We’ll see, won’t we?

There are a lot of Black people today who grew up with pictures of JFK in their parents’ or grandparents’ houses, along with pictures of MLK. I think the Kennedy name still carries a lot of weight with many of them.

(I can’t recall any pictures of LBJ enshrined in houses, though...)

The Kennedy name is as synonymous with Democrat as the Biden name is with criminal traitor.

In Massachusetts you say Kennedy and the orgasms begin.

Oh wow, is this the actual headline? They wouldn’t have described him that way pre-covid, eh?

I very much opposed (and still oppose) Kennedy’s anti-vaccine zealotry, but he’s shown the virtue of consistency and for sure there is some messed up stuff re: the covid vax.

I think he’s very smart to do this, I think his chances of winning are high.

A. He’s a Kennedy, pretty sure a whole lot of dems and non-political people still love them/would be nostalgic. And you know, those people are excellent pols. They’ve got the Irish charm, etc. And, for sure they know the ropes, I imagine he could put together a good team and rake in some $$$.

B. He’s made A LOT of new friends with his stand on the Covid vax (not sure of his views on other aspects, like lockdowns, etc. assume opposed because if you’re anti-vax natural immunity must be acquired. Think about the old days when people would have “measles parties” or whatever.

C. The dems have NOBODY who is better. They may have others as good, Newsome is loathsome, but he did beat the recall. I think Biden is beatable in a primary, I hope he is anyway.

Check out his father’s speech in Indiana before the primary there.

His Uncle Jack’s best moment was his speech to the Economic Club of New York in 1962.
