He can do what he wants. I’m voting for Trump, even if I have to write his name in.

So you'll only vote for Trump?

That's rather self-destructive. It's more practical to vote for whichever one gets the Republican nomination.

No he shouldn’t. Florida needs him to defend against more trans gender assault on Florida’s children.

I voted for Bush.
I voted for McCain.
I voted for Romney.

I’m not playing the stupid game anymore. I think elections are rigged and I think no one’s vote matters. If I go to the polls, I will vote for Trump and only Trump in the presidential race. You do you.

It will probably end up being Trump/DeSantis 2024.

Who will the Dem be? Biden’s too old and Kamala’s too disliked imo. CA Gov Newsom is the right age and handsome.

Until DeSantis can unencumber himself from the pro-China big money that is backing him, the answer is a solid “No!”

Does anyone think Biden capable now of doing anything beyond pulling the lid off his pudding cup? Not me. Can’t imagine any scenario where he’s the D-nominee. CA Gov. Newsome is telegenic and the right age.

if it’s truly their time, they don’t need practice sessions, God will get them in and help them along - just as He did for Trump.

Trump didn’t always follow God’s word or lead, but Trump did a wonderful job having never been in political office before and running and then dealing with many difficult situations with countries etc.

Not perfect, but Trump did lots of good for people around the world.

God will do that for another person if He so chooses.

Biden is old, but his ego may not let him drop out.

Yes.

If DeSantis doesn’t run in 2024 he will have to run as a 2 year out of office candidate in 2028. By running in 2024 even if he doesn’t get the nomination, people will be well aware of his policies and achievements next time around.

Besides Trump helped blow up his own presidency up with his pathetic staff picks and WuFlu response and he needs a tough, truly conservative challenger to debate and show us why he deserves to get it back.

GOP pundits increasingly worry about DeSantis's readiness for the brutal scrutiny of a national campaign. There is also unease about his personal appeal.

Nonsense, and this pundit is unworried.

But there is a good way to settle this.

Run, RDS, Run!

And, if Trump or any GOPer can out-debate or out-present, then they win the votes.

Easier and we get the strongest candidate, whoever that may be.

BTW, it would look better for Mister Trump and his acolytes if they tried to out-compete other candidates in place of name-calling fellow GOPers, hatchet pieces, and other attempts to poison the metaphorical well.

Acting presidential and diplomatic and wise are big parts of ...

...personal appeal.

Sorry but Ron DeSantis is not part of the plan for 2024.

He should run, knowing that the odds are against him but keeping his cool. Building for the future. Pounding the issues, leaving the name-calling to Trump.

I understand your feelings. I wrote-in Ron Paul in 2008 and 2012. But I don’t either Trump or DeSantis are as bad as Bush, McCain or Romney.

“Ron DeSantis has a book out.

You can read it and better judge his merit”

People are too busy trying to use the guilt by association, his donors, rather than read his book and find out who he really is. Lazy thinking and bumper sticker mentality.

I though he was committed to being Florida’s governor. Which is it? Fulfill his current commitment and obligation, or flip the bird to the Florida residents and say FU.

WE will NOT go back to GOPe who have sold out our country!! Governing a ONE PARTY state is a cake walk compared to the utter SWAMP of DC!! Sorry but I see DeSantis becoming a go along to get along SWAMP creature just as GWB became!!!
