Geesh, people, been on 60 Celebrity cruises and they go out of there way to accomodate ALL people's problems......this was a VERY UNUSUAL problem with the morgue being out of order!
Was he getting deader.
You see the cruise line advertisements on tv and they show bunches of young people partying. When you board the ship, you notice all of the passengers are in our age group.
One of my favorite movies of all time!
Dead folks go in the freezer when underway. Unless your ship has a morgue.

Some of my family would probably feel most at rest heading to eternity in a beer fridge.

This looks like a ‘slip and fall’ lawyer who has no clients.
This is common practice in the cruise ship industry to put a deceased person on ice.
The other problem for the lawyer is that the death occured on the high seas and a whole different set of laws apply.
I’m sorry. I can’t help it. Many years ago, I visited British warships while conducting LOTS exercises. The Royal Navy were just ready to abandon the rum ration. To the point.
Why not pickle him in cheap vodka? The Admiral Nelson in a cask of spirits solution.

Years ago we watched the cruise ship of the day sail away in the evening, only to slow, circle, and come back to port.
Much delay and a tender back and forth.
Found out they had a deader and were trying to figure out what to do with the body. Guess it legally was the county responsibility since it happened in inside 3 miles.
We thought like this ship, just put him on ice until the next port.
I'd often wondered about those lavish buffets.
