Three simple truisms:
1. 65% of the transplant centers DO NOT require vaccination. Perhaps she should pursue care at one of these centers
2. ESRD can be maintained on HD for years. She can more than likely have HD until Emory lifts the requirement
3. She has seven children and presumably a husband as she is a devout Roman Catholic. That is a total of 16 organs available in her family. Perhaps she should see is she is a match for one of them which would obviate the need to list her for transplant.
And here is a bonus point. Renal disease is known after natural covid infection. Perhaps If she were vaccinated her kidneys would still be working.
Your bonus point is speculation, as there are many reasons that can cause renal failure such as being a heavy soda drinker or a diabetic. Also you are assuming she hasn’t checked her family for donors. Wouldn’t matter as the place wouldn’t do the transplant, regardless.
Which is why I said she needs to find another place to do a transplant.
My bonus point is exactly the same argument against the assumption that every death is from the vaccine which seems to be rampant among some. So thank you, we now agree on something.
Living related transplant does not go through the transplant Kieran. In order to list her believe that means getting the organ itself. I may be incorrect with this but in my experience, directed donation for solid organs does not invoke the institutional protocols for donation from the national organ donor procurement system.
But in either event she has plenty of options which this article implies does not exist, and as typical the usual suspects show up screaming sue! Crimes against humanity!! And my personal favorite (and a new one) — unconstitutional!! apparently some here are utterly unfamiliar with the constitution. I would love to hear what is “unconstitutional” about this.
Of course they can, however I won’t shed a tear if someone takes issue and extracts some personal justice in the matter
It's not about science or health. It's about obedience.
Clearly constitution would only apply if it was a government policy preventing it
That’s said, I’ve pinged a few lobbyists I know to put this in front of some of our more outspoken congressional reps and state level leaders to explore pulling any funding possible to institutions that continue these policies
>Perhaps If she were vaccinated her kidneys would still be working.<
Spot on! It’s 100% effective and 100% safe. Only a mouth breathing, neanderthal, religious fanatic would refuse the sacrament of the jab.

I am just using the same argument proffered by many on reverse to illustrate a point.
Be well
