As I’ve been saying for a long time now, this is a Fad, and it gets these losers some attention, which is typically what these retards crave.

Don’t forget, the CDC collected loads of data for years on how guns save lives but hid it until they were forced to release it under a FOI demand. They have a habit of mucking about with data to serve their agenda.
I really don’t trust surveys of high school students. When I was in high school they gave us a survey about sex and drug use, everyone I know put down that they smoked pot daily and had sex at least weekly. This is a survey they gave to about a million high school students and soon afterward there was huge headlines about how common sex and pot was among high school students. We all had a big laugh at the alarm the survey caused.
My bet is that the students of today realized that is the response the people taking the survey wanted to find and they gave it to them.
As the fad tapers off, Democrats unhappy with adding voters with LGBQTQUERTY+ will add “W”—for Weird.

Exactly what my teenage girls say. And in a very conservative area. They usually say “What’s wrong with them” — in an exasperated tone of voice.
I do know what’s wrong with them. They and their families turned away from God.
