True dat. When last I looked, the rule of law was a rapidly receding image in the rear view mirror.

Unlike the WAPO & NY Times, who conducted rabid investigations to uncover the Pentagon papers leaker, Teixiera, Politico (Gerstein) see no need to reveal the Roe vs Wade leaker, whose action could have caused irreparable harm to one or more Supreme Court justices.

One can only presume the reason the Justices weren’t interviewed was they did not want to put the some in a position to commit perjury. “Suggestions” from your boss are often tantamount to orders. The truth will eventually come out, as it always does, but only after the guilty party has retired or died so they can be lionized by the left.

The “assassination” motive Alito raises carries with it the idea that Biden would win the election and thus fill vacancies with leftists. Seems likely to me that the primary motive for the leak was Biden’s election; the assassination was just a possible bonus for them. Biden’s voters were not at all energized by his dead campaign. The Dobbs decision was leaked and instantly millions of pro-abortion (democrat) voters were all fired up to vote. This almost assuredly changed the outcome of both the Presidential and many down-ticket races.

This makes me wonder whether anyone from the DNC, Biden, or other Dem operatives actually coopted someone into leaking the material. The contacts or every justce and staffer with access to the material should have been investigated. You can bet they were not. How exactly the material came to be leaked would also give away who dun it. It’s easy not to find something when no one looks.

Would you continue working with someone who put your family, coworkers, or friends at risk? If Alito suspects someone of leaking, do you think you could continue working with them, knowing that they put your life in danger?

The leaker needs to be exposed. Whoever it was, he/she is untrustworthy and extremely dangerous, and needs to be neutralized.

Wouldn’t conservatives have to uhmmm ... actually shoot back? For it to be a “war” beyond the type “waged” by keyboard warriors?

“Not only is the SC not a coequal branch of .gov, they are subject to certain Congressional conditions.”

Not a co-equal branch of the federal government?

The U.S. Constitution authors are holding for you and the other ill-informed freeper “constitutional scholars” on line 1789

What’s your point, really?

Clearly there are 3 branches of government.

They are co-equal. They all wield checks and balances on the other 2.

They all have powers that are completely absent from the other 2.

you have zero idea where, why and how of said investigation was conducted. if the justice has an idea but can’t say is because they done have solid proof. as for the SC not being a co-equal branch of government you are a fool.

There is no check on the courts. The folks that wrote the constitution acknowledged that there was no check. Read 55 Men and the Constitution by Rodell.

The investigator made 97 SC employees sign affidavits. She didn't have the justices do that. What part of sham investigation do you not understand? Most importantly, Alito said has a idea who the leaker is and didn't put a signed affidavit on it.

Would you continue working with someone who put your family, coworkers, or friends at risk? If Alito suspects someone of leaking, do you think you could continue working with them, knowing that they put your life in danger?

Coequal government is a myth, we are designed for self rule, with power first with our representatives.

The only check is that they are appointed and approved. There is NO check on their decisions.

Amendment V when employed can override a specific opinion by the majority. If the majority opinion is egregious enough against the sensibilities of ‘The People’ then the Amendment process to add in a change could take 1 to 2 years as you tell the court to go pound in sand once ratified.
Article III concerning the courts is poorly designed, but Amendment V is a check on opinions regardless of the time consuming process.
