"Right now, AL7 combines Birmingham & Montgomery. Per the plaintiffs on this lawsuit, Birmingham would be its own district (D+24) and Montgomery and Mobile would be connected to create a 2nd (D+11) with rest of the state averaging R+55."

Here is the existing map as FYI.

This part of Kavanaugh’s record was not made widely known to the public during his confirmation process: https://allanfavish.com/index.php/vincent-foster

“I’ll be holding my breath if they get ahold of a significant 2A case.

Seriously? In what world isn’t Bruen a significant 2A case?

The Court has been solidly 2A since the 2008 Heller decision.

The GOP is going to lose. America will continue to slide down that massively slippery slope. GOD has REMOVED His hedge of protection from this nation. He continues to remove it every time this stupid nation goes against Him. Our government has lost its mind and keeps making all these decisions that are going against GOD's law.

If you don't believe that, fine, but I do and so do more than about 30 million other people in this nation. This WXYZKLMNOP+ mobs, abortion, constant murders every other hour/minute, rapes, stealing, the filth on the Internet (our top export item is PORN!!!), the crap turned out by Hollyweird that is polluting the minds of those who watch their filth. I believe firmly that GOD is pulling His protection from this nation.

Our country was founded by those who landed on the eastern shores of this nation, bowed the knee to the Creator of all things, and pledged this nation by GOD's grace. They came here for religious freedom, to escape the King of England's rulings. Our nation rose to be the power of the world, now we fall into the cess pool of filth and depravation. What a great accomplishment!! The best Bible scholars in the nation have for 100 years searched the Holy Scriptures to find the USA in them. No go. There is NO mention of a western power in Scripture in the End Times. So, something has to happen to this country, and it is going on now. The Rapture of the church will destroy this nation. Once it hits, taking 6 to 9% of the tryly saved, believing population and all children under the age of accountability, then America is done!! Believe it or not, your free choice given to you by GOD. But it you don't believe it, well, you had better be right. You are going so at your own peril.

How is that Trump pick working out? Probably the worst justice ever appointed by a republican.

If I recall, the Alabama case was the one conservatives wanted in front of the court. Clearly, they went well.

Probably the worst justice ever appointed by a republican.

Really?

How about Earl Warren? John Paul Stevens? David Souter?

They said they would not get involved in PA because it was a “state’s issue”.

The Voting Rights act that Teddy the swimmer was responsible for only applied to certain Southern States. Maybe that is the reasoning they was used?

This is a huge reason our urban cities are rotting piles of garbage. The courts are creating lifelong democrat districts, which becomes hell holes of corruption, crime, and poverty!

SHAME on the courts!

Correct: Win them over, believe it or not, on youtube, there are indeed a growing number of Black Americans being exposed to the likes of Professor Thomas Sowell, Professor Glenn Loury, Officer Tatum (Former Police Officer), Candace Owens who 4 years ago called BLM a money grab scam, and she was proven right, that are starting to reach some Black voters.

The question is can those of us who are Republican/Independent with Conservative or Independent with some Libertarian leanings reembrace Ronald Reagans ability to unite various groups whose politics were right of center.

Reagan use to say don’t get into fights with other Republicans, A Republican who is with me 90% of the time is better than a DEM is is against me, 1 who is 80% of the time is better than a DEM who is always against me, a Republican, who is 70, 60% of the time, etc is better than a DEM who is always against me, etc.

So if the GOP can get a Black voter block that lets say is center-Right and 60-70% aligned with broadly speaking Conservatism, that is a win for all of us vs. the far left secularist neo-marxist DEMS who are out their minds.

I wish it were still the party of Reagan. Seeing some of the posts on FR should disabuse you of that notion. There are more than a few FReepers that want an ideologically pure Republican party so much so that they are willing to burn the party to the ground.

Multi-member districts with proportional representation would render gerrymandering obsolete.
