I think he’s tough enough to make it. He was my Congresscritter and now my state governor, so I’ve watched him for awhile. Not showy, he just gets things done and doesn’t back down.

I get it that you despise Ron DeSantis (an outstanding, conservative GOP governor). Must you also denigrate George H. W. Bush’s name so often? George H. W Bush volunteered for naval service in WW2, was shot down by Japanese fighter pilots but by the grace of God survived and was rescued.
While it is true his presidency ended up being mostly a disappointment, he served Ronald Reagan effectively as V.P. and remained a patriot to the end. He also was responsible for appointing Clarence Thomas to the US Supreme Court.
