the one thing I cant get past with Arnold is that as governor he pardoned the son of a friend who had committed a gruesome murder. When Questioned about the pardon he said it was his friend’s son and out of friendship he had to do it...I no its often not the case but I firmly believe pardons are for miscarriages of justice. they are not favors you do for a friend.
He’s not wrong. It’s all celebrity these days. Trump changed parties 5 times. But people convinced himself he’s conservative cause he said the magic words. Fame, fortune and the magic words, that’s how you get to be president now.
Nice stash
If he’s eligible, he would have to run as a Democrat.
It's a necessary evil. Sometimes you get railroaded in the courtroom and you get an unfavorable verdict. You should be able to appeal to the Governor if it was truly unfair.
Agreed. I remember that, too.
That’s really who and what he is.
Where’s the baby?
I’d bail and go 3rd party, too.
...the part where he couldn't win.
He seems like a nice guy. It's certainly not his fault who his parents are:
Yup
I have been watching the Netflix Arnold series. His career as a body builder and an actor are wonderful. But as a politician, he was doing great as a hard-line Republican, but then he folded and started initiating the stupid environmental program that has ruined California, and then he raised taxes like a scared little girly man. I’ll finish viewing the rest of the series, but even if he were an NBC so could run, he’d make a lousy POTUS.
He started listening to Maria’s Kennedy relatives.
Sad. Better to have lost his reelection bid and let them destroy themselves for four years. Worked for NYC. After four years of Dinkins, they elected Giuliani for two terms, the second time by a landslide.
He married into the Kennedy klan, *then* cheated on his wife with the housekeeper (probably so he’d fit into that family). Besides being ineligible, he’s got his head up his ass. :^)
But as a politician, he was doing great as a hard-line Republican, but then he folded
We have a leader now who is still in the fight but too many want him to fold. Why?
That and since he was raised in euro-socialist Austria he had a psychological underpinning for it. Also, his ego demands he keep himself “viable” to the entertainment culture for more film.
“ Aw s•••, they let anybody into this Presidency! What the heck you doing here?”
I stand corrected.
