yep. Just think, Russia will counter strike, likely with a nuke. They could hit us. Win for the democrats, Martial law enacted by puppet Biden, permanent control, purge of all opposing domestic views, then dictatorship.

Most Americans don’t give a RATs ass about Ukraine.

But they do care about a resurgent nuclear-armed dictatorship led by a power-hungry ex-KGB man who, quite obviously, intends to bully, cajole, attack, and eventually absorb all of his neighboring countries piece-meal - unless he is dealt a decisive defeat in Ukraine.

"Retreating Russian invaders ...."

You should try living in the real world. In the real world, there are no retreating Russian invaders, only victorious Russian servicemen and a successful Russian rescue mission and large numbers of people saved from the stinking nazi regime in Kiev.

Ukraine still can’t win, but doing so would insure America also loses, and badly.

Tell me - how ready is the USA, its economy, its manufacturing, its debt, its stock-market, its neo-marxist, divided politics, its woke urban soyboys and trans girls for a protracted hot war with Russia (and China)?

Ukraine ain’t pushing ANY Russians out of their defensive positions. These Lefties are really taking hard drugs now.

The warmongers in Washington DC have only succeeded in causing the slaughter of a whole generation of Ukrainian young men by trying to achieve the impossible defeat of a resolute and powerful Russian military.

Ukraine has lost the fight. Ray Charles could have seen this by now.

You describe my post as "incoherent" merely because I compared you with someone wanting tactical battlefield details to be made public in advance? You consider that an "ad hominem?!"

How very touchy of you!

Until then, gfy.

How very vulgar of you!

Good thing this isn’t a proxy war being conducted by the US military-industrial complex.

The reason for not attacking Russia is their nuclear deterrent. Period. So far it's working.

The war will continue until it stops being profitable. Like DC getting nuked. "Biden" (his handlers whoever they are) surely know this.

In the real world, there are no retreating Russian invaders, only victorious Russian servicemen and a successful Russian rescue mission [...]

Tell that to the tens of thousands of killed, maimed, and psychologically scarred Russian soldiers who have been sacrificed by Putin since the start of the "Special Military Operation!" Tell that to the thousands and thousands of Russian soldiers captured and interned since the onset of the Invasion!

You seem like an intelligent fellow, so tell me how many combat and logistical forces constitute the Russian Special Military Operation in total (you can just round it up or down in thousands and be within 25,000 to show you know).

“””we beat the British without attacking them at home.”””

We did fight them in the vast Atlantic Ocean, between us and Britain.

If this was a bar trivia bet, remember that we did attack England at Whitehaven harbor

Discerning History

WAR FOR INDEPENDENCE

John Paul Jones Raids the Shores of England

It was on this day in 1778 that Americans under John Paul Jones attacked Whitehaven, England, landing on Britain’s shores for the first time in the War for Independence. American naval commanders had already sailed off the shores of England, but although they had captured English ships, they had never been able to land. Jones set out to change this. He believed that it was more efficient to attack the ships in their home port rather than chasing them across the open ocean, and that to make a real difference in the course of the war he had to bring the war home to the English on their own soil.

His ship was the USS Ranger. Launched from Maine, Jones sailed her across the ocean to France, capturing British vessels along the way. Jones had hoped to sail in a larger ship, but when that plan fell through, he set out from France on April 10, 1778. Sailing into the Irish sea, he captured two small prizes and burned them. Hindered by unfavorable winds, he made his way towards Whitehaven, which he planned to attack. On the night he had prescribed the attack, when he lowered his boats the wind shifted, and he had to reembark and sail out of the port . From captured sailors he learned of a group of unprotected ships, but again the winds were against him. Hearing from fishermen that the HMS Drake was alone in port, he planned to board and capture her at night. But when she was in position she was blown away because someone neglected to lower the anchor.

Historic Salt Mine in Whitehaven
The wind was finally favorable for a sail to Whitehaven on April, 22. At midnight, the morning of April 23, the two boats were lowered. Jones picked thirty-one men to man them. He commanded one boat and Lieutenant Samuel Wallingford of the Marines the other. The tide was running out and they made slow going, so it was dawn before they landed on the stone piers. Wallingford was sent to burn the many ships of the harbor, and Jones himself headed for the fort guarding the harbor. The sentry gave no warning and had probably fallen asleep, having no expectation of an attack. Jones was lifted over the wall, followed by the rest of the men. The fort was old and lightly manned. Completely surprised, the garrison surrendered without putting up a fight. Jones loaded the prisoners in a boat, and spiked the fort’s guns. Going on to the other, smaller fort, it also fell without resistance and it’s guns were spiked.

Jones’s mission was complete, but when he rejoined Wallingford he was disappointed to discover that he had failed. This was before the invention of matches. Fires could be lit with flint and steel, but that was a time consuming process, so the normal procedure was to light one flame from another. But Wallingford’s candle had gone out. In a hurry to escape the harbor before more English arrived, the Lieutenant abandoned the plan to burn the shipping. But unwilling to accept this reverse and determined to succeed, Jones improvised. Going to a house in the town he obtained a light, and fired one of the ships.

As the flames roared higher, the town’s inhabitants flocked down to the piers, watching their ships burned. Ordering his men to the boats, Jones brandished a pistol before the crowd, convincing them to beat a hasty retreat. Once he was sure the flames could not be extinguished, he jumped into the boats and headed back to the Ranger.

Although he had been unable to destroy all of the town’s shipping, he was able to send tremors of fear through England. They could no longer believe themselves completely safe from war, since the Americans had landed on their doorstep. Jones later wrote:

Had it been possible to have landed a few hours sooner, my success would have been complete. Not a single ship, out of more than two hundred, could possibly have escaped, and all the world would not have been able to save the town. What was done, however, is sufficient to show that not all their boasted navy can protect their own coasts; and that the scenes of distress which they have occasioned in America may be soon brought home to their own door.1

Jones would continue on to a famous career, creating one of the most famous legends of the American navy.

Very good analysis.

Biden is an old fool with his campaign manager running the Department of State.

We are ruled by a Intelligence-Military-DNC Complex operating at odds with the lawful Constitution. There is no law, no treaty, no promise that the Democratic Fascists will not break.

The young woke arrogant people from the Obama Administration inherited an America that was the envy of the world; today in Obama’s third term, the Petro Dollar is dying and American has become more like the Third Reich was in 1936.

The Wokester’s did not understand the world they inherited, nor did they appreciate integrity or honor - they had got that far by Racial Preferences, stealing, and using the courts or law enforcement to do as they pleased, holding honest people DOWN.

This DNC plants who love Ukraine are probably just paid activists to push the DNC propoganda on FR. If they had an ounce of decency, they could not, would not support Biden; that they support the policies of the DNC is all needed to seen.

How quickly does any Ukraine discussion become mired from the Uke lover’s with telling you that you’ve offended someone or said something now allowed - FASCISTS are and will always be... it’s who and what they are - they come here on FR to push the Administration’s Line on the DNC talking points, e.g., Ukraine gives them the footing to call you a bigot, a racists, a homo hater.

Just look back over the posts from Uke lovers and see their comments - they are 100% DNC plants.

If Russia were to defeat the whole of Ukraine (not likely), then I’d say some eastern Warsaw pact countries may come under Russian influence again, and don’t care. Not a fan of debt, debauchery, or child mutilation, so not going to lay it on the line for western democratic values. Just not into risking mine or my children’s lives so the international finance cabal can expand the nations they control. Best option now is to make a deal, which may include Crimea and Donbas to Russia. Be done with it, save young lives, there is nothing good to fight for here.
