No, I’m emphasizing that Trump has been Trump 2.0 lately, that’s what I want.

He hasn't changed at all, in my eyes. I think you just see him differently now. So to me Trump 2.0 suggests a change, but since I have seen no change, the designation of 2.0 doesn't register with me. 🙂

DeSantis was planning to run against Trump, and Trump saw that before many others saw that reality. Some became upset with Trump because they saw his actions as being detrimental to the party.

But the party itself is detrimental to itself.

They fear what Trump will do to their gravy train trough where they enrich themselves with money & power.

That is they worked with the Democrats to steal the 2020 election. That was the biggest mistake they had ever made, because it opened the eyes of their supporters that something was terribly wrong in Republican Partyland.

I have been a supporter of the Republican Party since before I could even participate in politics.

Furthermore, their charade of being for their base has been completely exposed as being a fraud. They neither care about or concern themselves with the base beyond elections to keep them in positions of power where they can also profit financially with ease & without any risk whatsoever.

Pretty good job if you can keep it. Well, I for one will not support the party financially anymore, because they have proven themselves to be frauds unworthy of my support. I will continue to support Trump & my Senator, John Kennedy. I will not support Senator Bill Cassidy. Nor will I support my district's congresswoman Julie Letlow for her vote to raise the debt ceiling. She only won because the person we had originally voted in died of Covid before he could be sworn in.

Good analysis.

I would add one more thing. It is not about Trump It is about MAGA.

Keep your eye on the ball. If we lose it is our fault. Trump does his best, do we?

Thanks. I don’t relish in it. It’s the times in which we
live.

OK. I was pointing out that:
“But not enough to win or keep the senate or congress.” ignores the election fraud. Texas Gator keeps belittling Trump for not winning n 2020 as though election fraud was Trump’s fault and that Trump could unilaterally reverse the fraud. That’s the dead donkey Texas Gator is whipping.

“I never praised Former Governor Andrew Cuomo, as the dying New York Post is suggesting. I thought he was a horrible Governor, and have made that point for years. He was the enemy, and I would rip his Fake (Sanctimonious?) News Conferences apart. I did a lot to help New York, but he didn’t even use the Convention Center or Medical Ship. Crazy!”

“But as bad as he was,” Trump added, “all I said was that New York (4th worst) had fewer actual Covid deaths than (Ron DeSantis) run Florida (3rd worst). Those are the facts!”

Re: 168 - What’s the point trying to be made by President Trump?

That Florida should have had more lockdowns?

More restrictions?

What?

He wan’t making a point. He was laying out facts. Trying to parlay the statement of facts into a position is disingenuous. It is a tactic used by partisans.

Trump praising Cuomo on Covid is disrespectful to the thousands in Nursing Homes, who were ordered to take Covid infected patients.

Cuomo locked down, whereas, DeSantis did not. Trump adopted Lord Fauci’s programs and refused to fire him.

I would disagree that he is not trying to make a point.

He’s trying to make the case that Florida did -something- wrong or different regarding COVID-19 that resulted in more deaths than NY. He is unable to articulate -what- Florida did wrong or should have done differently.

He certainly is using the point to cast blame on DeSantis.

I disagree. DeSantis is being pushed hard in his candidacy for President and often the message is not an accurate one. It’s a sales pitch and the context and negatives are left unsaid.
Trump was making that point. It was not an indictment of Florida’s response it was a rebellion against DeSantis boosters using COVID response as a selling tool. I think Trump was correct. Americans need to look under the hood & kick the tires before climbing on the train for any politician.

To: rbmillerjr

You are completely wrong. It was not praise of Cuomo. Characterizing it that way is not only disingenuous it is gaslighting. That is why I posted Trump’s statement.

The DeSantis boosters on FR do their chosen candidate a great deal of harm when they dissemble & twist the facts in what they think is their candidates favor. The candidate takes on a patina of shadiness & opportunism based on these types of posts.

You also lie about Trump’s support of Fauci ignoring Trump’s sidelining of the same and his exposure of Fauci misstatements and misinformation but that is par for the course with those who would subvert the truth to further their own ends.

For praising the work of Matt Braynard, and all the work he did to expose fraud in the 2020 election? You’ve probably never even heard of Matt Braynard. Matt was on Bannon’s show regularly for several months after the election, going over what he was finding, and asking for contributions. All you care about is that I dared to question why Trump didn’t expand on Matt’s work, or do something similar. How dare anyone question the King, right?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You suck even worse at deflection. Yep, I will continue to point out just how intellectually bankrupt you and a few other posters like you here really are.
Troll on troll....I can’t WAIT to see your next KoS talking points post. /S
That’s rich coming from a Trump cultist. And yes, Trump had the right to fire Fauci and did not. He acquiesced to Lord Fauci’s ignorant shutdown and masking policies.
President Trump had a rally today. It is reported that 75,000 plus Americans showed up in the heat and humidity.
75,000? LOL!
Try under 2,000.
See that red square? That's 900 people.
