I am amused and saddened at many who say "we won battles" in Vietnam, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Syria, Afghanistan, and more, who, when asked "did we win the war" rage at the question. No matter who won or lost a battle or a war in these last decades, the MIC has won and won "big."
Their intent is to keep it that way for as long as possible. The US spends on its MIC more ( 877.0 billion USD ) than the next five nations combined, including the evil nemesis, Russia ( 86.4 billion USD equivalent ), and next and continuing opponent, China ( 292.0 billion USD equivalent ). Said differently, the US spends about 40 percent of ALL military throughout the world right here....
