Trump supporters sound stupid attacking others for the way they handled COVID. Trump literally destroyed himself AND the country by his COVID missteps.

“he loses AGAIN.”

Some warrior you are, prob best to change your name to ConservativeWimpNoFightLeftTDS

Trump didn’t lose? He’s in the white house? Wow.

He lost because he spent all his time on Twitter instead of combating the coming voter fraud. He’s a short-sighted loudmouth with terrible judgement.

I can sorta give the Governors a pass for their initial lockdown mania.

I wouldn't give anyone a pass for that, but I can at least understand why someone would make a decision like that in the face of widespread public panic and cowardly fear.

There are some things in a government official's response, however, that can never be forgiven:

1. No person who runs a business should ever be forced to shut down and lose his livelihood under a government order. This alone is what turned me against just about every U.S. governor outside of South Dakota all the way back in March 2020.

2. A government official who imposed lockdown orders that were farcical and useless to anyone with an IQ over 70 should have resigned -- or offed themselves -- as soon as the idiocy of these orders was clear. I'm referring to lockdowns and restrictions under which churches were closed but liquor stores were open, where playgrounds were closed but dog parks were open, businesses were forced to shut down while BLM demonstrations (and riots) were allowed to proceed without interference, and where people were forbidden from having funerals for loved ones even while George Floyd's family was allowed to have THREE of them.

This, for example, is so 'effing retarded that whoever came up with the idea ought to set themselves on fire on national television -- perhaps right after the coin flip at the next Super Bowl:

I'm not sure who you're talking about -- President Trump?

In the spring of 2020 my own business was directly subject to lockdown orders and travel restrictions from three different government officials. President Trump's name didn't appear on any of them.

Does the Palm beach county health director work for Desantis?

I wish our governor had this caveat on his closures. Sounds like an excellent governor.

The two counties’ governments will “have the ability to enforce, relax, modify or remove these closures as they see fit,” the news release from the governor’s office said.

IIRC, DeSantis visited here and had a chat with the mayor - probably, ‘You’re fired unless”- and the mayor shaped up.>>> And then Desantis order basically said the counties can do what they want. I wish our governor was a good.

The two counties’ governments will “have the ability to enforce, relax, modify or remove these closures as they see fit,” the news release from the governor’s office said.

What.a silly article from that tabloid run by that brit Raheem Kassam supporting Trump.

Dr. Ladapo was the political equivalent to Fauci for the state of Florida, not this nobody down in some county.

And Ladapo is 100% the opposite of Fauci then it comes to policy.

It’s articles like this that have destroyed Trump’s support even among Republicans.

Dr. Ladapo wasn’t even in office until September 2021, so he’s not terribly relevant to the conversation about the most destructive COVID directives and orders.

Absurd. Never heard of this person in Florida. Not a statewide position. Anyway.

Thanks for the data. Ladapo is still proof DeSantis moved the hall in the correct direction, unlike Trump.

Because you live in some delusional state where nothing like that could ever happen.

Yes, and that’s not a bad thing. It’s a big and varied state, from Miami to counties with about five people and a few catfish.

But RINO Curry never did relax anything or cooperate with state guidelines and finally..I think after Curry tried to send out his goons to arrest people at a beach … DeSantis came and told him to knock it off.

He also had to tell a couple of other counties to drop the police state tactics and made some of the South FLorida Dem counties get real about their hysterical Covid over-counting and followed up on their massive federal bailout money fraud.

Not to mention doing battle with the biggest force in Florida politics, the odious leftist teachers union, which never wanted to open the schools again.

I said months ago that DeSantis (and Trump, for that matter — but for different reasons) would be well served to just stop talking about the COVID fiasco. His own track record is well documented, and it’s not something he should be proud of. Lying about it only makes him look like a duplicitous, lying jackass.

THIS.

It’s a cleverly written but false article. I live in PBC. She was awful, though! Desantis followed the national model for a period of time. He eventually started rollbacks across the state leaving Miami, Ft. Laud and PB until last. Florida had a massive influx of people for many, many reasons. In all of the craziness he did pretty well. Closing beaches and parks was a mistake but that was pretty much the national model.
