I went to public school in Wilmington DE and worked in the Philly area for almost a decade.
Every negative thing is derived from experience for me.

Now don’t get me wrong. What happened to Till was really really bad. The guys that did it should have gone to prison.
But all these years have gone by and to the best of my knowledge, there’s never been an attempt to memorialize Till.
Why is it an issue now? Chances are, Biden has no f**ing clue he even signed an order to create a national monument. The others behind the curtain are pushing it to remind black voters of which political party is their friend - especially given there’s an election in 2024.
Medgar Evers, I would agree deserves a monument way more than Till.
Black vote bait democrats are notorious for it near election times.
