This ban will include all incandescent and halogen bulbs.
It is quite possible that you will no longer be able to buy some headlights and tail lights for your car as well because they are incandecent.
I am stocking up on appliance/lava lamp bulbs as well as halogen bulbs for my desk lamp, maybe some car bulbs

We haven’t had a free market in decades.
We went LED a few years ago. Haven’t replaced a bulb since. Has helped, along with a new AC to keep electric bill in check.

Try finding a bulb for a heat lamp that’s not incandescent. Heat lamps have saved plumbing from bursting and livestock from freezing to death. Stupid democRATS just can’t leave well enough alone.
Those silly screw tail leds don’t last like they promised. I drop them off at Walmart and the box hardware stores when they go out. Strategically placed around the store at various shelf locations.

Yep. In my kitchen. DH is a licensed electrician and has put in modern 200 amp service. Maybe quality of the bulbs are going south like everything else.
Most people have already switched because LEDs last years longer than Edison bulbs. As usual the govt is years behind the times. Go to Home Depot and Edison bulbs are starting to get scarce. It’s financially dumb to use them.

Yes, one of the 40 watt screw-in in my bathroom lights was very dim this morning, and flickering. They don’t last 7 years like promised.
