any of us can “try” Ronny. No doubt adequate application of the carrot or stick will halt that “try” before you ever take the oath of office
If he ends up being the candidate because Trump is convicted of something on sham charges, he may be the candidate but I doubt if he would get elected, and if he is elected, I simply don't think he is the one at this time who is going to be the driving force to fix what needs fixing.
Personally, I would consider voting for him in this coming election cycle if he is the Republican nominee, but not with enthusiasm.
And I don't think he can win. We have a lot of people who say they will never vote for Trump no matter what, but there are also people who say they will write in Trumps name before they cast a vote for DeSantis.
I have a hard time condemning them for that, but either way, the vote will be split, and that is doom for Republicans.
Just my opinion.
And may RDS come back to Florida and finish his job he promised his voters he’d do.

Assuming he wins, the Deep State would have taken out his biggest obstacle to the Presidency by preventing Trump from being the nominee. DeSantis would owe the Deep State a huge debt of gratitude.
