These are the four violations the January 6th Committee referred to the DOJ against Trump:
The four federal criminal statutes Trump and others allegedly violated: Obstruction of an Official Proceeding (18 U.S.C. § 1512(c)), conspiracy to defraud the United States (18 U.S.C. § 371), conspiracy to make a false statement (18 U.S.C. §§ 371, 1001) and to "incite," "assist" or "aid and comfort" an insurrection (18 U.S.C. § 2383).
What I don't see in there are charges that Trump failed to secure the Capitol Building with the National Guard. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't. It wasn't within his authority to do so. All he could do is ask those in the Capitol Building if they felt they might need more security, and that's exactly what he did...repeatedly.

Trump's White House should have recordings of his conversations with Nazi, Schmucky, and Mayor Bowser-Wowser.

"D.C.’s National Guard force answers to the president via his secretary of defense. The chain of command is: President > SecDef > Secretary of the Army > Commanding General of the D.C. National Guard."
I'm questioning this chain of command. You don't start at the top of the chain of command, you start at the bottom, which is why you follow the chain of command. You have to go up the line from the bottom first, not from the top down. That's not how the military or para-military law enforcement units work as far as I know. If youwent over your commanding officer's head to the top, you were open to disciplinary charges for not following the chain of command.

It was too late while it was actually happening. Had she and shumster oked it prior like Trump asked it would not have happened.
