A lot of religious “conservatives” in Iowa would not be considered conservative in Texas or Florida. They vote pro-life and have memorized the bible. However, they are often anti-gun, pro-big government, pro-immigration, etc.
There are a lot of pro-gun, anti-big government, anti-immigration conservatives in Iowa, but they are of the blue-collar Trump supporting variety (i.e. not bible-thumpers like Van Der Platts).

It appears that a lot of folks are buying into the fake news talking points around here. Too weak to fight against the deep state. So much easier to roll over, forget the past and try to reach across the aisle and move on. Except no matter who our candidate will be they will never relent unless we stand up for the injustices once and for all. Peacefully of course.

If he admits to being swindled by the Deep State, I would certainly consider him then. But I think his problem is that he hasn’t bothered to develop his own thoughts (otherwise he be doing much better).

Keep trying, I’m well-aware of Trump’s judicial picks as well as his UNIQUE ability to gather votes from Working Class people.
